If you think canoeing is only an Olympic discipline, it's time to think again. This excursion in the Valnerina is an opportunity to let yourself be carried away by the current, literally!
You will start from the calm waters of the Sordo river and then be swept into the more lively Corno, with dynamic passages, stops for diving and moments of pure fun.
Your adventure will last about 3 hours, with a guide accompanying you along the way. And, after paddling to your heart's content, an Umbrian aperitif awaits you to recharge your batteries!
What we will do
We’ll meet 30 minutes before the scheduled time in Serravalle (PG).
Our guide will be waiting for us there to lead us on this adventure. After getting kitted out and a brief briefing on paddling techniques and safety rules, we’ll head to the river access point, about 100 metres from the centre. Here we’ll launch our canoes and get ready for the adventure!
We’ll set off from the River Sordo, the perfect training ground for getting to grips with the paddle. After about 200 metres, we’ll enter the River Corno, where the pace will pick up. Here, we’ll alternate between more dynamic stretches and stops for a swim and a dip in the current. The guide will be with us the whole time, ready to offer advice and have fun with us.
After paddling for about 3. 5 km surrounded by the natural beauty of the Valnerina, we’ll reach the river exit point. Here, a minibus will pick us up and take us back to base in about 10 minutes.
To round off our adventure in style, we’ll enjoy an aperitif in the countryside with a Spritz (or non-alcoholic drink) and a selection of savoury snacks: the perfect reward for our efforts!
The activity will last a total of 3 hours, including around 2 hours of canoeing downstream.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from the age of 14; children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult or have signed authorisation.
Itis not necessary to know how to swim; it is sufficient not to be afraid of water.
The maximum weight per participant is 100 kg.
Other information
The activity takes place from April to October and is confirmed provided there are at least 2 participants.
The venue has separate changing rooms for men and women, with toilets and outdoor showers, as well as secure lockers where you can leave your personal belongings. You are not permitted to carry mobile phones or other personal items with you whilst taking part in the activity.
The venue has 5 single canoes.
If you have any food allergies or intolerances, it is important to inform the organisers a few days before taking part, using the contact details provided in the booking confirmation email.
On the day of the activity, you can request a photography service at a cost of €20 per group, payable on site.
The meeting point is easily accessible by public transport. Free parking is available at the venue.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
