This is the motto of our wine tasting with lunch at Podere della Bruciata, a historic winery in Montepulciano: you will walk through the vineyard, visit the barrel cellar and toast in the company of an ONAV taster, accompanying the wines with a Fiorentina steak or traditional dishes.
An experience of over 2 hours, with an authentic Tuscan flavour!
What we will do
The appointment is 5 minutes before the selected time at Podere della Bruciata, in the hamlet of Sant'Albino in the municipality of Montepulciano (SI) . We will be welcomed by our guide, an ONAV taster, who will accompany us on a discovery of this historic reality in the heart of Chianti!
Having gathered all the participants, the experience will begin outside with a walk through the vineyard: in this natural setting, the guide will recount the history and philosophy of the winery. We will then move inside for a tour of the cellar: we will walk through the production room, delving into natural winemaking, and then enter the barrel cellar dedicated to ageing. This first moment will last about 30 minutes.
We will then take a seat in the room set up for lunch , which will include, depending on the option selected
- Basic: mixed hors d'oeuvre of typical Tuscan products such as cured meats, cheeses and home-made jams; traditional mixed side dishes such as fagioli all'uccelletto (beans cooked in the "uccelletto" oven) , country herb cooked in earthenware and bruschetta; home-made dessert. The 'basic' option must be compulsorily supplemented with the purchase on site of a Florentine steak (€5. 50 per hectare) .
- Plus: mixed hors d'oeuvre of typical Tuscan products such as cured meats, cheeses and homemade jams; main course of grilled sausages accompanied by Brunelleschi's peposo or stewed wild boar; mixed traditional side dishes such as fagioli all'uccelletto, country herb cooked in earthenware and bruschetta; homemade dessert.
Lunch will be accompanied by wine tasting: we will toast with 4 glasses of wine or 3 glasses of wine and 1 bitter from the best house labels, depending on availability.
The experience will last a total of 2½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is recommended for participants aged 18 and over.
The wine tasting is reserved for participants over 18 years of age only. Any under-age participants will pay the reduced rate of €20.00 (basic option) or €30.00 (plus option) and will be served lunch with non-alcoholic beverage; please contact us to submit a booking request with under-age participants.
The experience is wheelchair and/or pushchair accessible.

Attention! In the event of bad weather, the vineyard walk may not take place; the experience will only take place indoors.
The experience takes place all year round.
The 'basic' option must be supplemented with the purchase of a Florentine steak on site; the cost per hectare is €5. 50. The T-bone steak may possibly be divided between 2 or 3 persons.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
