Discover with us Podere della Bruciata, a historic winery in Montepulciano: you will walk through the vineyard, visit the barrel cellar and taste the best house labels expertly described by an ONAV taster.
An experience of over 1 hour, enriched with a board of local products!
What we will do
The appointment is 5 minutes before the selected time at Podere della Bruciata, in the hamlet of Sant'Albino in the municipality of Montepulciano (SI). We will be welcomed by our guide, an ONAV taster, who will accompany us on a discovery of this historic reality in the heart of Chianti!
Having gathered all the participants, the experience will begin outside with a walk through the vineyard: in this natural setting, the guide will recount the history and philosophy of the winery. We will then move inside for a tour of the cellar: we will walk through the production room, delving into natural winemaking, and then enter the barrel cellar dedicated to ageing. This first moment will last about 30 minutes.
We will then take a seat in the tasting room: we will toast with three glasses of wine accompanied by a platter of typical products including cold meats, cheeses and home-made jams. Depending on the weather, the tasting may take place in a scenic underground setting or outside on a panoramic terrace: the view sweeps from the Val di Chiana to Umbria, passing by Lake Trasimeno!
The experience will last 1½ hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is recommended for participants aged 18 and over.
The wine tasting is reserved for participants over 18 years of age only. Any underage participants (12 to 17 years old) will pay the reduced rate of €18.00 and will be served a board of typical products with a non-alcoholic drink: contact us to submit a booking request with underage participants. Children aged between 0 and 11 participate free of charge: contact the guide at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to indicate their presence.
The experience is accessible by wheelchair and/or pram.

Attention! In the event of bad weather, the vineyard walk may not take place; the experience will only take place indoors.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
