Rent a boat in Castellammare del Golfo and lead your crew of up to 7 people to discover themarine area of the Zingaro Nature Reserve on a free-route tour.
A half-day or full-day excursion where you will experience the thrill of becoming captain for a day!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before 09:00 at the meeting point in Castellammare del Golfo (TP). You will be welcomed by the charterer who will hand over your boat!
The boat is a 5.60-metre-long BlueMax motorboat with a Yamaha 40 HP engine and equipped with an awning, shower, USB socket and stereo or Bluetooth speaker; an icebox is also available on request (optional and payable locally) to keep cool any food and drinks you wish to take on board with you.
The charterer will show you how to drive the boat and the rules for safe navigation even without a licence. You will also find a map on board that will help you reach the stages of your itinerary more easily. You can decide, for example, whether to stay in the Castellammare area or venture in the direction of Scopello.
If you choose a half-day charter, we recommend sailing towards the Zingaro Nature Reserve: along the way you will admire the Tonnara di Scopello, Cala Cataria, Tonnarella dell' Uzzo, and Cala dell'Uzzo.
If, on the other hand, you prefer to hire the boat for a whole day, you can continue your route to San Vito Lo Capo, choosing whether to stay off its beach or to dock at the port and pay the landing fee (optional and payable locally).
At the end of the charter you will return to the meeting point. The experience will last 4 hours (half day) or 8 hours (full day) depending on the option selected at the time of booking.
Who it is aimed at
The charterer and driver must be at least 18 years old; this boat may be chartered without a licence. There is no age limit for passengers .
The boat is not wheelchair-accessible, but people with mobility problems are welcome on board: please contact the charterer at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to request boarding support.
Other information
Rental is available from June to September.
There is paid parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.
Fuel is not included and will be paid on return to the port according to consumption with cash or debit/credit card.
On board the boat you will remain barefoot, any footwear will be stowed on board. Dogs are allowed on board: contact the skipper at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to request to bring your four-legged friend on board.
