How about discovering the Catania coastline from a completely new point of view?
Rent a 40 hp boat without a licence and set off on an adventure among sea caves, crystal-clear waters and breathtaking volcanic landscapes!
The boat is 5.6 metres long, has a 40 hp engine and can accommodate up to 6 people. You can choose between half-day (4 hours) or full-day (9 hours) hire. Let your adventure begin!
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the indicated time in the Ognina area in Catania.
Here you will sign the contract and receive a briefing from the staff, who will explain everything you need to know to sail safely.
The boat is a Cosiver Charro 555 equipped with a freshwater shower, dining table, stereo system, climbing ladder, USB port, sundeck, kayak and awning and can be driven without a licence. The boat is ideal for groups of up to 6 people.
Once at the helm, you will be able to move easily along the coast, going as far as the Port of Catania or Capo Mulini, where you can stop for a dip or a lunch break on board, enjoying the beauty of the sea views.
When booking, you can choose between half-day (9am-1pm or 2pm-6pm) or full-day (9am-6pm).
Who it is aimed at
A licence is not required to drive the boat, but it is mandatory to be of legal age.
There are no age limits for passengers.
The boat is not wheelchair accessible.
Other information
The boat can be hired from May to October and can accommodate up to 6 people.
You can choose the 4- or 9-hour option. Please select your preference in the booking box.
Important: fuel is not included in the fee and will be payable on return according to consumption. Both cards and cash are accepted.
The following optional services are available, to be requested from the charterer at the contact details indicated in the booking confirmation email and to be paid on site: skipper (€100 for a full day only), insurance (€30), cooler with ice (€25) and drinks box (€45).
Small dogs are allowed on board.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport; there are free and paid parking spaces on site. A transfer service for up to 9 people is also available (extra charge depending on distance) between Catania and Messina: to request this, please contact the rental company after booking confirmation.

If you have made a fixed-date booking and the weather conditions are not suitable for safely carrying out the activity (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be fully refunded. The guide may offer you an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to accept or decline these proposals. If you cannot reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
