Fancy a day out on a boat, but don't have a licence?
At Conche di Codevigo, a stone's throw from Chioggia, you can set sail in a 40-horsepower motorboat and experience 8 hours of freedom in the lagoon. With the sun on your skin, the breeze on your face and the stereo at full volume, you are the captain!
What we will do
The meeting is at 10 a.m. in Conche di Codevigo, in the province of Padua and only a 10-minute drive from Chioggia.
After the initial paperwork, you will take part in a briefing of about 10 minutes, during which you will be explained how to use the boat safely: starting, anchoring, and using the accessories on board. If you wish, you can also take a test drive before departure.
The 5.20 metre motorboat with a Yamaha 40 HP engine is ideal for up to 6 passengers. On board you will find everything you need to enjoy the day: awning, cushions, diving ladder, shower, USB and Bluetooth socket for music. You'll be able to explore the canals of the lagoon, approach Chioggia by water, take a dip wherever you like, and relax on board!
On your return, you will refuel at the Chioggia station, according to consumption. The boat must be returned by 18:00, for a maximum total of 8 hours.
Who it is aimed at
A minimum age of 18 is required to drive the boat. Passengers of all ages are allowed on board.
A boat licence is not required.
The boat is not accessible to wheelchair users or those with walking difficulties.
Other information
The activity is available from May to September.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport and parking spaces are available nearby.
The cost of fuel is excluded from the fee. In addition, there is a €100 deposit for the boat rental, payable in cash or by credit card, which will be returned immediately upon return.
Small and medium-sized dogs are allowed on board.
