Lake Como is full of people. .. as long as you look at it from land.
Jump on board and change perspective: here the lake is all yours. With boat hire you can drive a boat for up to 7 people in total autonomy, without the need for a licence.
What are you waiting for? Choose between a 2 or 3-hour charter and get ready to sail past elegant villas, iconic villages and the most picturesque corners of the lake.
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in Menaggio (CO). On your arrival, the staff will welcome you and give you a 10-15 minute briefing on nautical rules and the use of the boat.
You will then be given an Andy or GL Elegance model boat, equipped with every comfort: large bow and stern sun decks with memory foam cushions, a steel awning to protect you from the sun, and a brand new Smart APP with geolocated map to easily find the best landings and restaurants.
When booking you can choose between a 2 and 3-hour charter. If you choose the 2-hour rental, you can sail to Tremezzo, Bellagio and Varenna. With the 3-hour option, you will go further to admire the Orrido di Nesso waterfall or explore the upper lake between Dongo and Domaso.
At the end of the experience, you will return the boat to the starting point.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limit.
A licence is not required to drive the boat, you only need to be of legal age and show valid ID.
The boat is not wheelchair accessible; not recommended for pregnant women.
Other information
The boat can be rented from March to October, daily from 9 a. m. to 6. 30 p. m. , and can accommodate up to 7 people.
You can choose either a 2-hour or 3-hour charter option; select your preference in the booking box.
A deposit is not required.
Fuel is included in the fee, as is Kasko insurance (with a 450€ deductible) for safe sailing.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport; there are paid parking spaces on site.
Dogs are only allowed on board if small, with a 20€ supplement to be paid on site.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
