On Lampedusa there are no half measures: either you stay ashore with your beach umbrella or you take a boat and enjoy the sea properly.
With a 6-metre boat powered by a 40 HP engine, you can set off without needing a licence and move among coves, caves and secret little beaches. With a maximum of six on board, sun in your face and turquoise water all around, you have the boat for the whole day.
And trust me, a dip in Cala Maluk or a stop at Baia Tabaccara are worth more than a thousand photos taken from the shore.
What we will do
The appointment is at the meeting point in Lampedusa, starting at 09: 00. The staff will welcome you and, after the necessary paperwork, will hold a briefing in which they will explain the best itinerary according to the wind, the rules of the Marine Reserve, and how the boat works, especially if you have never driven it.
The boat at your disposal is a 6-metreBlumax open with a 40 HP engine and approved for a maximum of 6 people. On board you will find cushions, a steel awning, fresh water shower and all the necessary safety equipment. On request you will also be provided with an igloo with ice.
From there on you decide the route: you can sail to the spectacular Baia Tabaccara, reach Punta Sottile or stop for a dip in the island's most beautiful coves, such as Cala Maluk and Cala Francese.
At the end of the charter day, by 17: 30, you must return the boat to the starting point.
Who it is aimed at
The hirer and driver must be at least 18 years old. There is no age limit for passengers.
The boat may be hired without a licence.
The boat is not accessible to persons with mobility problems.

Rental is available from May to October.
Please note: Lampedusa is part of the Lampedusa Island Oriented Nature Reserve and, more importantly, of the Pelagie Islands Protected Marine Area. This means that not all the coast is free: there are areas with regulated access. The charterer will advise you on the best itinerary based on sea conditions and the constraints of the reserve.
Fuel is not included and must be paid on return to port according to consumption, preferably in cash. No deposit is required.
Dogs of all sizes are allowed on board.
There is free and paid parking in the vicinity. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
