Full description
With the wind in your face and the rudder in your hands: if you like to imagine yourself in the guise of a skipper, then it's time to rent a boat in Viareggio and lead your crew of up to 6 people to discover the most beautiful beaches in Versilia.
You won't need a licence, all you have to do is choose the duration of the charter and set sail!
What we will do
Please arrive 10 minutes before your selected time at the meeting point in Viareggio ( LU) , where you will find the charter operator ready to hand over the boat reserved for you.
You’ll be at the helm of a 6.35-metre-long Corsiva New Age 605 motorboat , equipped with a sun deck, a canopy and cushions. Thanks to the 40 cv Selva engine , you can sail without a boat licence and feel like a real captain!
If this is your first time at the helm, the charter operator will show you how to manoeuvre the boat and will also give you a test drive. After that, you’ll be ready to set sail with your crew! From Viareggio, you can reach Versilia’s most famous resorts, such as Forte dei Marmi, Lido di Camaiore or Torre del Lago Puccini.
Whilst sailing, you can drop anchor to take a dip in the open sea and relax whilst enjoying the view of golden sandy beaches. What’s more, you can also celebrate on board with food and drink you’ve brought from home!
At the end of the experience, you’ll return to the meeting point. The charter will last a total of 4 hours (half a day) or 8 hours (full day) , depending on the option selected at the time of booking, between 9. 00 and 18. 00.
Who it is aimed at
The charterer and driver must be at least 18 years old; this boat may be chartered without a licence. There is no age limit for passengers.
The boat is not wheelchair-accessible, but people with reduced mobility are welcome on board: please contact the lessor at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to report your presence and request boarding support.
Other information
Hire is available from May to October. When booking, you can choose between a half-day hire (9. 00 am – 1. 00 pm; 2. 00 pm – 6. 00 pm) or a full-day hire; please select your preference in the booking box.
Fuel is not included and must be paid for on return, based on consumption, in cash or by credit card.
A security deposit of €1, 000. 00 will be required on site, payable by credit card (American Express not accepted) or cash, and will be refunded at the end of the hire period.
You must remain barefoot on board. Dogs are allowed on board.
A skipper service is available (price on request) : please contact the charter company using the contact details provided in your booking confirmation email to request this additional service.
There is a pay-and-display car park near the meeting point. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is very flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 48 hours from the activity start. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
