We couldn't exclaim otherwise as we take a souvenir photo of our Cheesemaker's Day in Marano Ticino: a young professional will welcome you into his daily routine, accompanying you through the entire goat's cheese-making process: cheesemaking, refining and, of course, tasting.
An experience of more than 4 hours, to appreciate every single bite even more!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before 08:00 at the meeting point in Marano Ticino (NO). We will find our guide, a young dairyman and farmer, waiting for us, ready to welcome us into his everyday life!
Having gathered all the participants, the experience will begin with a cheesemaking workshop: we will take part in all the stages of the process such as milk loading, curdling, fermentation, extraction, cheese moulding and the start of stewing. The guide will describe each step in detail and we will not fail to extract the cheese with our own hands!
While the cheese is curdling, we will visit the farm: we will meet goats, chickens, ducks and the other animals that live there. It will also be an opportunity for a natural snack of yoghurt and fresh cheese.
The experience will continue with a cheese-ripening workshop: here, too, we will participate first-hand, practising the farm's classic cheese-ripening processes, such aswine-ripening!
And now it's time to take off the cheesemaker's clothes and put on those of the gourmet at the goat's cheese tasting: we'll be sampling mature cheeses from a buffet accompanied by a glass of local wine. And of course we will not fail to taste the goat cheese we have made with our own hands!
The experience will end at around 12.30 p.m. and will last a total of around four and a half hours.

The experience is suitable for everyone regardless of age. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
The facility is wheelchair accessible. What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
