Chianti lovers, this tasting is for you!
For those thirsty for authentic stories (and good wine) , the Buccia Nera winery in Arezzo is the place to be.
Here, you’ll enjoy a guided tour through the vineyard and the winery to discover how grapes are transformed into magic, followed by a tasting of three glasses of Chianti DOCG, Superiore and Riserva, accompanied by delicious bread and olive oil!
What we will do
The tour takes place at the selected time at the Buccia Nera vineyard in Località Campriano, Arezzo (AR), set against the stunning backdrop of the Tuscan hills. We’ll be welcomed by the guide who will accompany us throughout the tour.
We’ll start with a stroll through the vineyard rows before moving on to the winery’s production and ageing rooms . Here, the guide will explain the characteristics of Sangiovese, how it develops and how it behaves depending on the materials it encounters along the way.
We will then take our seats for a tasting of three glasses of wine to discover the three different facets of the grape variety: we’ll start with the youngest, crispest expression of vintage Chianti, move on to Chianti Superiore with one year’s ageing in large casks, and finish with the intense Chianti Riserva, aged for three years.
The tasting will be accompanied by locally produced bread and olive oil ; on request, you can order a platter of typical cured meats and cheeses (not included) .
The experience will last approximately one and a half hours in total .
Who it is aimed at
This experience is recommended for those aged 18 and over. The wine tasting is for adults only. Any accompanying minors may take part in the experience free of charge (any additional items, such as the platter, must be purchased on site) .
The venue is accessible to people with reduced mobility and wheelchair users ( there is no dedicated disabled toilet) .

The experience runs all year round and is confirmed provided there is a minimum of 2 people. In the event of bad weather, the activity will take place entirely indoors.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
