Ciro is a curious and friendly piglet: come and meet him!
With this experience, you can spend two hours on a farm in Montepulciano, meet Cinta Senese pigs raised in semi-freedom, and discover local farming traditions. Finally, you can enjoy a fantastic light lunch prepared with products from the farm!

What we will do
The meeting point is in Montepulciano (SI), where we will meet the guide who will accompany us on this farm experience!
We will begin with a short walk through vineyards and olive groves: about 10 minutes to get into the rhythm of the Tuscan countryside and appreciate the landscape.
We will then reach the Cinta Senese pigs, raised in semi-freedom. Here we will get to know these animals up close, we can pet them, photograph them and feed them, while the guide tells us how they are bred and fed. Among them is Ciro, the nicest and most curious domestic pig on the farm!
We will continue with a visit to the vegetable garden and the pantry, where we will discover the cold meats produced on the farm and the raw materials used. Immediately afterwards, we will conclude the experience with a delicious light lunch (included) based on bruschetta, ribollita or panzanella (depending on the season) , a board of Cinta Senese cold cuts, Pienza pecorino cheese with compote, Cantucci biscuits and Vin Santo. All accompanied by water and local wine.
The activity will last a total of 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Children under 18 can only participate if accompanied. Children up to 8 years of age pay a reduced rate, which includes a different menu: bruschetta with olive oil, fresh pecorino cheese, salami, ham, dry sausage, a plate of pasta with tomato sauce and cantucci for dessert.
The activity is accessible to people in wheelchairs or with walking difficulties. In addition, pushchairs can be brought in.
