Your guide
I live in the Trompia Valley, surrounded by snow-capped mountains in winter. It was here that my passion for skiing and ski mountaineering was born. After a trip to Egypt, I discovered kitesurfing; this new interest has declined among the peaks at home in snowkiting. For me, this sport means adrenalin, nature, silence, freedom: a combination of emotions that all explode at the same time.

Full description
Try a new winter sport and experience the snow and mountains to the fullest with a 3-hour snowkite course for couples.
Together with a CSEN-certified instructor , you'll learn to whizz across the snowy surface using the force of the wind that inflates the sail of your kite. Just like kitesurfing, but in a winter version!
If you have already tried this sport and are able to handle the kite independently, you will refine your technique and start practising more advanced manoeuvres, including jumps!

What we will do
The snowkite duo course takes place at Ospizio, Passo del Tonale (TN). After meeting the instructor, you will start with a short briefing to assess your level and goals.
In case you are a beginner and have never picked up a kite before, the first part of the lesson will be theoretical and will serve to introduce you to the world of this sport, to learn how to recognise wind trajectories and how to control the kite using the bar. The aim of the course will be to be able to practise your first snowkite strokes.
If you have already practised snowkiting before, you will determine together with the instructor which points to focus on. You will decide whether to do a review of the basics to consolidate and refine your technique or whether to launch into more advanced manoeuvres such as ascending slopes, over bumps and jumps.
Either way, the lesson will be adapted to your level and will allow you to learn or improve very quickly. The course lasts 3 hours and is aimed at pairs of participants who have already mastered skiing or snowboarding.
Who it is aimed at
This activity ranges from an easy to advanced level, depending on the participants' skills and experience. No previous experience in snowkiting is required, but good technique and mastery with skis or snowboard is necessary. You can participate from 12 years of age.

Attention! Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the chosen start time of the activity.
This activity is bookable from January to April and consists of a private lesson in pairs with an instructor.
The fee also includes the cost of membership of the association andinsurance (compulsory).
Skis, snowboards and helmets (compulsory) are not provided by the school. Near the meeting point there are a number of affiliated shops where it is possible to hire them.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is strict. You get a full refund if you cancel within 15 days from the activity start date. Within 14 and 8 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
