Practice one of the most fascinating water sports of all time, learn how to drive a sailboat and experience the true spirit of the sea!
This sailing course is held in one of the most beautiful locations in Sardinia, the Gulf of Marinella, just a few kilometres from Olbia, Porto Rotondo and Golfo Aranci.
You can choose the 3-lesson speedy course or the 5-lesson full course, or even just a single lesson to brush up on your technique and get going. You are welcome whatever your level!
What we will do
You will meet your instructor at the sailing school on Marinella beach. After a cognitive briefing to assess your level, the instructor will hand you all theequipment and place you in the most suitable group.
Beginners will start with the fundamentals of wind theory, which is essential for driving a sailboat. Afterwards, you will become familiar with the equipment, practice propaedeutic exercises, and learn the correct positions and basic gaits.
Those who are not beginners, on the other hand, will be able to refine their technique and practise advanced manoeuvres, learning how to handle the boat in special situations. All this is always done in complete safety and in afriendly and engaging atmosphere.
Groups for lessons consist of a maximum of 4 students of the same level. When booking, you can choose the option that suits you best from
- single lesson of 1 hour
- speedy course of 3 lessons for a total duration of 5h
- full course of 5 lessons for a total duration of 10h.
Who it is aimed at
The sailing courses are open to participants of all levels, aged 5 and up. Swimming is compulsory.
Other information
This activity is bookable from April to October, subject to weather and wind conditions.
After booking, you can get in touch with the instructor to communicate your level and possibly make preliminary arrangements.
If you purchase the 3- or 5-lesson course, you will agree on a date and time.
Thecourse time may vary depending on weather conditions and the organisational needs of the school and will be confirmed to you after booking.
