Get ready to venture into the 'bustling' world of kitesurfing!
In the company of a professional instructor, you will learn the basics of kitesurfing on land in a 2-hour theory and practice lesson. You will become familiar with the equipment and learn to recognise the direction of the wind, which will guide your kite.
At the end of the lesson you will be able to simulate your first 45-minute flight: a preparatory experience to refine your technique even more!
What we will do
I will be waiting for you at the meeting point in Grado or Marina Julia (GO). To welcome you there will be me, your kitesurfing instructor in this experience!
We will begin with a short theory lesson, during which we will discuss topics such as wind direction and risk prevention on land and at sea. Then we'll move to the beach: here you'll learn aboutequipment set-up and kite safety systems.
You will then be ready to get into the swing of things by taking part in a 45-minute simulator flight , which will teach you how to manoeuvre the kite correctly.
The experience will take place exclusively on land, not in the water; the activity is in fact designed for beginners approaching this aquatic discipline for the first time. Of course, once you have learned the basics, you will want to come back to put into practice what you have learned in the water!
The course will last a total of 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from the age of 10; children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult who signs the liability waiver.
The course is designed for beginners approaching this aquatic discipline for the first time.

The experience is available from April to August and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 2 participants.
The course takes place according to weather and sea conditions; thelesson time may vary.
The meeting point of the experience could be in Grado or Marina Julia; the organiser will contact you 1 day before the experience to communicate the exact meeting point.
The duration of the lesson may vary depending on the number of participants.
Hot showers are available on site.
There are no lockers on site but the organiser is willing to store personal items upon request.
Accompanying persons are welcome to attend the course from the beach.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
