There are those who suffer the wind ... and those who ride it.
If you too feel that the time has come to stop standing on the shore and watching, get ready to discover a sport that combines balance, adrenaline and freedom.
This windsurfing course in Malcesine is designed for those who, like you, are starting from scratch but want to feel like a protagonist right from the start: in just 2 and a half hours you will become familiar with the board and equipment, learn to read the wind and water, and begin to move independently in the heart of Lake Garda!
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before 10:00 a.m. at the meeting point in Malcesine (VR), right on the shores of Lake Garda. We will be welcomed by theinstructor, who will accompany us for the duration of the lesson.
The course will take place in small groups (maximum 6 participants), to allow everyone to receive the necessary attention and learn at their own pace, in safety.
We will begin with a first part on land of theory and practice, where thanks to a simulator we will be able to try out the first manoeuvres with the sail and learn the correct posture, as well as the basics of equipment and techniques for reading the wind.
Then it will be time to get dressed, after which we will enter the water directly from the beach. For about an hour and a half, we will put into practice what we have learnt, followed by the instructor, who will also join us on the board or follow us from the shore.
During the lesson, we will learn how to steer the board, manoeuvre the sail and interpret the wind conditions, moving independently right from the start.
The experience will end with a return to the meeting point, for a total of 2½ hours of activity.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone from 7 years of age; children under 18 can participate with signed authorisation from an adult.
The course is at an easy level and suitable for a first windsurfing experience.
Swimming ability is required to participate and a minimum weight of 28 kg is required.

The course is available all year round , weather permitting.
If you would like to deepen your experience after the lesson, you can purchase the complete 5-day course on site.
Changing rooms, showers and astorage area for personal belongings are available at the meeting point.
Any accompanying persons can wait at the nautical centre where there is a restaurant, a beach bar, a private beach with a shaded chill-out area and sun loungers, free Wi-Fi and a panoramic terrace.
There is free parking for guests on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport or on foot from the centre of Malcesine.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
