Experience the freedom of ploughing through the sea with only the force of the wind!
In San Cataldo, in the province of Lecce, you can approach the world of windsurfing with a 3-hour course to learn the basics and have fun in the water.
Together with an instructor, you will become familiar with sail and board, learning to surf the waves in a safe and fun way. The beautiful backdrop of the Salento coastline will do the rest!
What we will do
The appointment is 20 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in San Cataldo (LE).
We will be met by our instructor, who will provide us with all the necessaryequipment for the course: windsurfing board, sail, life jacket and wetsuit, if the weather requires it.
We will start the course with a theoretical session of about 30 minutes on land, during which we will learn how the equipment is made up, how to pull up the sail and maintain balance on the board. We will also learn techniques for changing direction and easily returning to the starting point.
Then it will be time to get into the water! We will immediately put into practice what we have learned, guided step by step by the instructor, who will follow us closely to help us in our first attempts at sailing on the Salento sea.
At the end of the course, we will return to shore to conclude the experience with a short debriefing. The activity will last a total of 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable from the age of 7. Minors must be accompanied on site by a responsible adult.

The activity is not suitable for people with back problems.
The weight per participant must not exceed 100 kg.
