Full description
An island standing on a giant? Here is one of the legends that make Ischia the ideal destination for an original full-day boat tour.
Set out to discover stories and legends and get ready to take a complete tour of this small-big island in the Gulf of Naples, world-famous for its thermal waters of volcanic origin.
Five bathing stops and plenty of delicacies to enjoy on board will be the perfect complement to this experience.
What we will do
We will meet in Forio, 30 minutes before the time indicated in the booking.
From here, we will board our boat and begin a classic tour of Ischia that will include 5 bathroom stops of about 40 minutes each. Each stop will be accompanied by light refreshments and explanations about the places visited.
We will head in the direction of Baia di Citara, a splendid beach with transparent sea that lies near the island's largest thermal park: the Poseidon Gardens. Here we will make an initial stop to admire the panorama, take a dip and enjoy a welcome drink of prosecco and snacks.
Navigation will then resume towards Sant'Angelo, an ancient fishing village and the destination of the second stop. Here, too, a refreshment with bruschetta is planned. The third stop will be at Sgarrupata, a magical place on the island with a very high coastline overhanging the sea. Between a dip and a swim, we will be able to enjoy our lunch, which will consist of a fish or vegetarian main course and impepata di cozze.
Afterwards, we will make our way to the Castello Aragonese, an ancient fortress in the eastern part of Ischia, connected to the mainland by a long masonry bridge. The fourth stop will also feature a small refreshment with seasonal fruit.
The Bay of Varulo, also known as the 'Spiaggia delle Monache' (Nuns' Beach), will be our fifth and final stop: this corner of nature that can only be reached by sea will be the perfect panorama for a coffee and bitter to enjoy before returning, which will take place after a 7-hour tour.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
Children from 0 to 3 years old do not pay: please inform us of their presence after booking confirmation.
One of the boats used for the tour (motorboat Jolly) is wheelchair accessible. In case of need, please contact the organisers in advance so that you can be assigned to the most suitable boat.
Other information
The tour takes place daily from April to October with a minimum number of 10 participants.
The boats used for the tour are motorboats equipped with a toilet, freshwater shower, sundeck and shaded area, of different capacities and types:
- motor boat Jolly of 17.15 m for up to 40 persons
- motor schooner Joya of 15.65 m for up to 20 persons
- 13.10 m motor boat Manida for up to 25 passengers
- typical wooden motor launch of 12 m for up to 12 persons
The choice of boat is at the organisers' discretion, depending on availability and the size of the group.
The itinerary may vary depending on sea weather conditions and traffic at sea.
In case of food allergies or intolerances, please notify at least 1 day in advance to the contacts indicated in the booking confirmation email.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport or by car, with paid parking nearby.
Dogs are not allowed on board.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
