If you dream of the sea in Sicily, don't miss thisday trip from Palermo that will take you to some of the most iconic places on the coast: from Mondello to the Capo Gallo nature reserve.
During the trip you will have plenty of time to dive into the water and snorkel, discovering the hidden treasures of the seabed. Your time on the boat will be brightened up by an aperitif and a tasty lunch that will immerse you in typical Sicilian flavours.
Camera or smartphone in hand, get ready to capture the most beautiful views you can imagine!
What we will do
The meeting is in Palermo, 15 minutes before the departure time of the excursion.
After being welcomed on board by the skipper, we will sail to the first stop on the itinerary, the Tonnara dell'Arenella. The structure was built in 1830 near the Arenella harbour and today part of the tuna fishery is used as a museum. We will stop the boat here in front and enjoy a 45-minute swim and a small aperitif with snacks and prosecco.
We will then set sail again to Mondello, where we will drop anchor to enjoy lunch on the boat, which will include an appetiser and a first course, accompanied by wine, prosecco, beer and soft drinks.
After lunch we will depart for Capo Gallo, a nature reserve of incomparable beauty in whose waters we will snorkel for about an hour, discovering seabeds rich in flora and fauna.
On the way back, we will make a final stop near the Grotta della Regina (Queen's Grotto) in Marina di Villa Igiea and enjoy a small aperitif, before resuming navigation towards the port of Palermo.
The excursion will last about 8 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from 1 year old. Children and young people up to the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
It is not recommended for people who suffer from seasickness.
The boat is not wheelchair-accessible.
Other information
The excursion is bookable every day, all year round, and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 4 participants.
Depending on the number of participants, the experience can take place on
- a 12 m motor boat with a maximum capacity of 8 persons and equipped with awning, table and sofas, ladder, platform, freshwater shower, sundeck and tender.
- a 14 m motor boat with a maximum capacity of 12 persons and equipped with awning, table and sofas, ladder, platform, freshwater shower, sundeck, dinghy and air conditioning.
For groups of more than 12 persons, both boats will be used.
If weather and sea conditions do not allow sailing to Mondello and Capo Gallo, the itinerary may be modified and we will sail to Capo Zafferano, Mongerbino and Cefalù.

A maximum of 1 small dog is allowed on board.
The meeting place can be reached by public transport. Free or paid parking spaces are available nearby.
