If you dream of the sea in Sicily, don't miss thisday trip from Palermo that will take you to some of the most iconic places on the coast: from Mondello to the Capo Gallo nature reserve.
During the trip you will have plenty of time to dive into the water and snorkel, discovering the hidden treasures of the seabed. Your time on the boat will be brightened up by an aperitif and a tasty lunch that will immerse you in typical Sicilian flavours.
Camera or smartphone in hand, get ready to capture the most beautiful views you can imagine!
What we will do
The rendezvous is in Palermo, 15 minutes before the departure time of the excursion.
After being welcomed on board by the skipper, we will begin navigation and pass in front of the Grotta della Regina at Villa Igiea. From here we will make a first stop in front of the Vergine Maria beach with a swim and an aperitif, based on snacks and prosecco.
We will then head northwest to observe the wild and spectacular coastline, until we reach Mondello beach in about 30 minutes. Here we will make our second stop with lunch, snorkelling and enjoying the beach for about 2½ hours. Lunch will include an appetiser and a first course, accompanied by wine, prosecco, beer and soft drinks.
After lunch we will depart for Capo Gallo, a nature reserve of incomparable beauty where we will be able to take lots of photos. On the way back, we will make one last stop near the Grotta della Regina (Queen's Cave) in Marina di Villa Igiea: we will be able to visit it and bathe inside the cave, before resuming navigation towards the port of Palermo.
The excursion will last about 7 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Children and young people up to the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
It is not recommended for people who suffer from seasickness.
The boat is not wheelchair-accessible.
Other information
The excursion can be booked throughout the year and is confirmed on reaching a minimum of 4 participants.
Depending on the number of participants, the experience can take place on
- a 12 m motor boat with a maximum capacity of 8 persons and equipped with awning, table and sofas, ladder, platform, freshwater shower, sundeck and tender.
- a 14 m motor boat with a maximum capacity of 12 persons and equipped with awning, table and sofas, ladder, platform, freshwater shower, sundeck, dinghy and air conditioning.
For groups of more than 12 persons, both boats will be used.
If weather and sea conditions do not permit sailing to Mondello and Capo Gallo, the itinerary may be modified and we will sail to Capo Zafferano, Mongerbino and Cefalù.

A maximum of 1 small dog is allowed on board.
The meeting place can be reached by public transport. A large car park is available nearby for a fee.
