Explore the islands of Lipari and Salina by boat!
Get on board and let our skipper lead you to discover the Aeolian archipelago: from the Pumice Quarries to the Faraglioni, you will sail to discover the main attractions and dive into the most spectacular natural settings.
Spend a day on board, in the irresistible sea of Sicily!
What we will do
The appointment is 20 minutes before 10:30 am at the meeting point in Lipari (ME). We will be greeted by the skipper who will welcome us on board his boat, ready to sailaround theAeolian Islands archipelago!
Once all passengers have been boarded, we will sail to the famous Pumice Quarries, a splendid natural setting where we will stop for our first swim.
We will then reach Salina, passing first by Capo Faro and then by the Bay of Pollara, made famous by the film 'Il Postino' starring Massimo Troisi; swimming stops are also planned in these areas to cool off in the irresistible Sicilian sea. We will continue our exploration by arriving at Rinella Beach, where we will dock for a 1.5-hour shore break during which we will have free time at our disposal; this could be an opportunity to have lunch in one of the many small restaurants or enjoy a picnic lunch overlooking the sea.
Back on board, we will resume our course towards Lipari: we will make yet another swimming stop at the Grotta degli Innamorati and spot the Faraglioni. We will not miss a final swimming stop at the Valle Muria beach, considered one of the most beautiful on the island. Meanwhile, typical Sicilian sweets will be served on board accompanied by a glass of wine, to toast together to the wonderful Aeolian Islands!
We will finally return to the meeting point at around 17:30. The experience will last a total of 7 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone without age limits; children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult.
The boat is not wheelchair accessible.
Other information
The experience takes place from May to October and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 10 participants.
Theboat is a 10-metre long motor boat equipped with a shaded area, fresh water shower and toilet. A maximum of 2 small or medium-sized dogs are allowed on board. Please contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to check if you can bring your four-legged friend with you.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
