Full description
Spend a pleasant day exploring Favignana and Levanzo by boat, departing from Trapani.
In Favignana you will discover the unique charm of Cala Azzurra and the beach of Bue Marino, with its tuff quarries overlooking the sea. The boat will dock at the port of Favignana and you will disembark to explore the picturesque town centre. Before departing for the next stop, you will enjoy an on-board lunch of typical Sicilian products, such as arancini and pane cunzato.
The second part of the tour will focus on the small island of Levanzo: you will take the swim at the Faraglioni and be enchanted by the island's white houses and pristine coastal beaches, from Cala Minnula to Cala Fredda. Are you ready for this plunge into beauty?
What we will do
We will meet at 9.45 a.m. at the port of Trapani, where our skipper will be waiting for us on board Tilla II, the 11-metre boat that will take us to Favignana and Levanzo. We will depart at 10.00 am.
Once we have a seat, the boat will leave Trapani, skirting the town symbol par excellence: the Colombaia Castle. The skipper will keep a cruising speed of 20 knots, which will allow us to calmly admire the majestic medieval fortress.
On fine summer days, the landscape is truly wonderful and we will be able to gaze at the Egadi Islands in the distance. We will make an initial stop at the castle to visit the Ligny Tower and the Mura di Tramontana.
We will then continue on to theisland of Favignana, where an unforgettable itinerary awaits us from Cala Azzurra to the beach of Bue Marino, with its old tuff quarries overhanging the sea and its deep blue water mottled with turquoise. The boat will then head towards the port of Favignana. After anchoring in the stretch of water in front of the island's ancient tonnara (tuna fishery), we will disembark for a stroll through the characteristic alleyways of the historic centre.
Back on board, we will have an aperitif with Spritz and lunch while observing the island and the sea. We will enjoy a variety of Sicilian specialities, from pane cunzato to arancini and seasonal fruit.
After lunch, we will depart from the port of Favignana to continue our adventure. The skipper will treat us to an unforgettable experience: a swim stop at the Faraglioni of Levanzo. After the swim, we will reach the island's small harbour, a small natural jewel with its maritime houses with white façades and blue shutters and wonderful coves, from Cala Minnula to Cala Fredda.
We will then return to the port of Trapani, where we will arrive around 17:30. The total duration of the excursion will be 8 hours.

The activity takes place every day from 15 May until mid-September and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 8 participants.
The itinerary is subject to change depending on weather and sea conditions.
An 11-metre motor boat is used for the excursion. It is equipped with a sundeck, comfortable seating, a shaded living room with a large table, a bathroom with an outdoor shower, a small garden for diving, a Wi FI connection, mobile phone sockets and a Hi Fi system. Dogs are not allowed on board.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
