Full description
Experience the magic of Palmarola, jewel of the Latium coast, by sailing a gozzo for awhole day.
You will depart from Ponza in the company of a friendly skipper and spend 7 hours discovering the most characteristic coves and natural scenery of the island of Palmarola, from the Cathedrals to Cala Brigantina.
Between dives, you can relax on board, sunbathe, and enjoy a good lunch with local specialities.
What we will do
The scheduled departure is from Ponza at 10:00 am, with the meeting set 15 minutes earlier.
After getting acquainted with our skipper and taking a seat on board the gozzo, we will leave the largest of the Pontine Islands behind and head towards Palmarola.
The tour will take us to discover the wonders of the island such as Cala di Vricci, the Cathedrals, the port of Palmarola, Cala Brigantina, the Faraglioni di Mezzogiorno and Scoglio Forcina. The skipper will choose the best stopovers depending on the weather and sea conditions of the day for pleasant and relaxing sailing.
We will be able to stop for 8-9 swim stops at the most scenic spots in Palmarola: some stops will last up to 20 minutes, others will be shorter, for those who just can't resist the joy of another dip! We will enjoy the sun, music on board, and much deserved relaxation.
Around midday we will stop for an aperitif with prosecco and taralli in front of the majestic spectacle of the Cathedrals, a series of caves that sculpt the cliffs. Lunch will follow (included), with a view of Cala Brigantina: we will enjoy bruschette with tuna and Ponza tomatoes or a cold pasta, with water, wine, limoncello and coffee.
Return to Ponza is scheduled around 17:00, after a 7-hour excursion.
Who it is aimed at
The tour is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
The boat is not wheelchair accessible.
Other information
The excursion can be booked every day from June to September and is confirmed with a minimum of 6 participants.
The boat used is an 8-metre Poseidon gozzo, with cushions, icebox, stern deck, awning, freshwater shower, stereo, safety devices and bow and stern ladder.
Theitinerary may be modified by the skipper depending on the weather and sea conditions of the day.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
