Full description
The Mediterranean Sea. A full-day boat with crew at your disposal. The gastronomic specialities of Sicily. The combination you are looking for is contained in our tour of the Capo Gallo Marine Protected Area - Isola delle Femmine.
Swim in the waters overlooking attractions such as Grotta Regina, Tonnara Arenella, and Faro di Capo Gallo. Enjoy traditional dishes on board with lunch and an aperitif overlooking the Gulf of Mondello.
After a 7-hour tour, you won't want to say goodbye to this sea!
What we will do
I will be waiting for you at 10 a.m. at the meeting point in Palermo. You will find me with thecrew at the side of my boat, ready to welcome you.
Once all passengers have finished boarding and a welcome cocktail of prosecco or spritz (included) has been served, we will set sail at 10:30 a.m. for theMarine Protected Area of Capo Gallo - Isola delle Femmine.
The stops that will host us during the navigation are Grotta Regina, Villa Florio, Tonnara Arenella, Tonnara Bordonaro, Lungomare Cristoforo Colombo, Porto Addaura and the Gulf of Mondello. It is in this latter setting that lunch will be served on board (included) based on Sicilian gastronomic specialities such as busiate al pesto and seasonal fruit, followed by coffee and limoncello.
We will then continue on to Fossa del Gallo, Faro di Capo Gallo and the Grotta dell'Olio; we will toast to this beautiful natural setting with an aperitif on board (included) based on local delicacies such as pane cunzato, sfincionelli, bruschette, chips, pretzels and olives.
Two bathing stops of one hour each are scheduled during the navigation, at the participants' discretion. Masks and fins are available on board for snorkelling. How can one resist the temptation to dive into this wonderful sea!
We will return to the meeting point at 17:30. The navigation lasts 7 hours; the experience lasts a total of 7½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The tour is suitable for everyone with no age limit. Minors must necessarily be accompanied by an adult.
The boat is not wheelchair-accessible.
Other information
The experience is available all year round; no bathing stops are planned during the winter months.
The activity is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 4 participants.
Dogs are allowed on board.
Depending on the size of the group, one of the following boats is used for the excursion:
- Acquamar 28.50, motor boat 10 m long, max. capacity 10 persons, equipped with awning, sofas, shaded area, bathroom, kitchen, 2 cabins, freshwater shower, Bluetooth stereo;
- San Lorenzo 40, motor boat 13 m long, max. capacity 15 people, equipped with bathroom, 2 cabins, galley, large sunbathing area, shaded aft area, shower, Bluetooth system
- Rivercraft 50 Fly, a motor boat 16.5 m long and 4.34 m wide, max. capacity 20 persons, equipped with a freshwater shower, shaded sundeck area, WC, kitchen and bedrooms. Wi-Fi and a Bluetooth sound system are also available on board.
In the summer months , departures can also be made from the port of Mondello, subject to the skipper's availability. Contact the organiser at the contact details given in the booking confirmation to arrange this option.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
