Have you ever thought of cycling 35 km... without breaking a single drop of sweat?
With ane-bike and Chianti all around, you can. Set off from Florence for a guided day tour through hills, vineyards and picture-postcard villages.
You'll pedal unhurriedly to a farm surrounded by greenery, where a typical lunch and a wine and olive oil tasting await you.
What we will do
The appointment is at 9.30 am in Florence, ready to leave the city for a full day in the Tuscan countryside. The staff will welcome us and hand over electric bikes, helmets and water bottles, making sure that everything is perfect for our comfort and safety.
After a short briefing and some advice on e-bike riding, we will start pedalling, leaving the city behind us. In a few minutes we will already be in the hills: olive trees, neat rows of vines, small ancient villages. The guide will accompany us on a route that alternates panoramic stops, local curiosities and pleasant stretches of dirt road.
After about 1 ½ hours we will arrive in San Casciano in Val di Pesa, at a family-run wine estate. We will visit the farmhouse, the wine cellar and the organic vegetable garden from which many of the ingredients for lunch come. Then... we will enjoy the best of Tuscan cuisine: a multi-course lunch, accompanied by two Chianti Classico wine and EVO oil tastings.
But it won't end there: after lunch (and after recovering from the Tuscan delights), we will get back in the saddle for the return journey. The guide will lead us along a different road, through golden fields, gentle ups and downs and breathtaking views. The last stop? A ride near the Villa del Poggio Imperiale, before returning to Florence in the afternoon.
The tour will end around 4.30 pm, after about 7 hours of touring and 35 km in total.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is at an easy level and is aimed at everyone from the age of 14 years and above, with aminimum height of 145 cm.
Bike riding skills are required.
Other information
The activity can take place every day from March to November and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.
The tour is conducted mainly in English. The guide is Italian but provides explanations in English to allow international guests to participate.
Important: within 2 days before the tour, it is compulsory to contact the guide to communicate weight and height, so that the most suitable e-bike can be assigned.
The e-bikes provided are equipped with a 150 W/h Bosch motor with front suspension. Bikes with full suspension are not available.
Lunch and tastings are included in the price; in case of food allergies or intolerances, please inform the guide in advance (you will receive contact details by e-mail with the booking confirmation.
Pet carriers are not available.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport; paid parking spaces are available on site.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
