Day sailing in the Gulf of Arbatax and Orosei with lunch

The best attractions of the Gulf of Arbatax and the Gulf of Orosei, packed into this day's sailing trip!

From the Baus Waterfall, to the Grotta dei Colombi (Grotto of the Pigeons), to Cala Goloritzé: these and many other stops (and bathroom stops) await you during the excursion led by our skipper and his crew, who inhabit the Sardinian sea on a daily basis.

And you cannot miss a tasty lunch on board, to recharge your batteries for the next dive!

What we will do

I will be waiting for you 15 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in Arbatax (NU). As skipper, I will welcome you on board my sailboat , which is looking forward to spending this day at sea in your company!

Once we have finished boarding all the passengers, we will be ready to set sail and venture into the Gulf of Arbatax. We will sail along theIslet of Ogliastra, say goodbye to Santa Maria Navarrese and admire the fjord (a good 191 metres!) of Perdalonga. We will stop for about 40 minutes near the Baus waterfall, the natural setting for our bathing stop.

We will resume navigation passing by the Grotta dei Colombi (Pigeon Cave ) and approaching the fjords of Cape Monte Santo. We will then head into the Gulf of Orosei to reach the Grotta della Contessa, stopping about 10 metres from the entrance; it will then be possible to make a swimming stop, swimming inside the cave in the company of a crew member, practising snorkelling thanks to the equipment provided on board.

We will continue on to Cala Goloritzé and Cala delle Sorgenti, one of which will host us for a swimming stop; being a protected area we will stop offshore, with the possibility of reaching the beach using the tender service. Once lunchtime has arrived, lunch will be served on board (included): a plate of mixed antipasti consisting of crostini, cold cuts, cheese and vegetables followed by a first course of pasta seasoned according to the menu of the day, assorted fruit, water and wine.

In the early afternoon, we will sail along Cala Mariolu, Cala Biriola and Piscine di Venere, one of which will host us for a swim stop.

We will then open the sails to sail to the meeting point, where we will land at around 18:00. The experience will last a total of 9 hours.

Who it is aimed at

The experience is suitable for everyone with no age limit; children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

The boat is wheelchair/folding pram accessible; people with reduced mobility are welcome on board subject to notification of their presence by contacting the organiser at the contact details given in the booking confirmation e-mail. The organiser also organises sailing days for the disabled.

Other information

The experience takes place from June to October and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 4 participants.

The excursion takes place subject to weather and sea conditions at the organiser's discretion.

The boat is the CYCLADES 50.4 motorsailer, a 16-metre long and 5-metre wide sailboat with large outdoor living areas, a large and comfortable equipped stern area, an interior saloon with a large dinette and kitchen area, four cabins, each with its own bathroom, and bow and stern sundecks. It is equipped with a CD stereo, battery charger, oven, fridge, boiler, indoor shower, outdoor shower, awning, 2 indoor fridges, indoor gas hob, swim ladder, 3-metre service boat/tender with 5 HP engine. In some cases the boat could be exchanged for the CYCLADES 39.3 motorsailer, which has similar amenities.

The boat is not accessible with shoes; you will be barefoot on board.

The boat is not accessible to dogs.
