Route north or south? Starting from Talamone, whatever the direction, the wow effect is assured!
On board a sailing boat, you will explore the magnificent coast of the Argentario or the wilder coast of the Parco dell'Uccellina, depending on what the wind decides.
In the company of a skipper and his crew, you will experience a day among hidden coves, all topped off by a delicious organic lunch cooked on board!
What we will do
We’ll meet 20 minutes before 09: 30 at the meeting point in Talamone (GR).The crew will be there to welcome us on board.
Once all participants have gathered, we’ll set sail to begin our adventure. We’ll sail under sail if the wind conditions are favourable; otherwise, we’ll use the engine. Together with the skipper, we’ll decide on the best route based on the weather conditions and our preferences: we could head for the wild beaches of the Uccellina Nature Reserve, such as Cala di Forno and Le Cannelle, or set course for the Argentario to admire Cala del Gesso and the picturesque island of Argentarola.
Whilst sailing, anyone who wishes can try their hand at a short sailing lesson or listen to the skipper’s tales of local marine life.
Midway through the day, the aroma of the cooking will draw us back on board for a local, organic lunch: we’ll start with an aperitif of wine and chapati with dips, followed by a delicious seafood or vegetarian spaghetti dish.
We’ll make a total of 3 to 4 stops for a swim , with the chance to go snorkelling or paddleboard to explore the coast’s most hidden corners.
After a final afternoon of swimming and relaxing on the sun deck, we’ll set sail for the return journey to the harbour at around 5. 30 pm.
The activity will last approximately 8 hours in total .
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for ages 6 and up; children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The boat is not wheelchair accessible and participation is difficult for persons with reduced mobility.
Other information
The activity takes place from May until September and is confirmed with a minimum number of 4 participants. The itinerary and stops may vary depending on weather and sea conditions at the skipper's discretion.
The boat used is a Comet 420 sailing boat, 12. 60 m long and equipped with a shower, awning and toilet. On board one stays without shoes.
In the event of food allergies or intolerances, please inform the organisers in advance at the contact details given in your participation confirmation e-mail.
Dogs are welcome on board, please inform the organisers in advance at the contact details given in your participation confirmation e-mail. To welcome you on board you may also find little Nala, the crew's mascot.
Paying and/or free parking spaces are available on site. The meeting point is not easily accessible by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
