Full description
Set sail at 9. 30 am from Palau and then forget about the time: for the next 8 hours, your only concern will be deciding whether to take a dip or sip a glass of Vermentino!
Aboard a Lagoon Experience catamaran, a day awaits you exploring Spargi, Budelli and other gems of the La Maddalena Archipelago, with an aperitif and lunch included.
Getting back to shore will be the only effort you’ll make all day!
What we will do
We’ll meet 30 minutes before 09: 30 at the meeting point in Palau (SS). We’ll be welcomed by the skipper, who’ll take us on a tour of the La Maddalena Archipelago during this day out on a catamaran!
After a brief introduction to the itinerary, we’ll set sail at around 09: 30. Our first stop will be the island of Spargi, where we’ll make two stops at Cala Corsara, Cala Granara or Cala Soraya. During these stops, we’ll have time to swim, go snorkelling and relax on board, surrounded by turquoise waters.
We’ll then set course for the famous Spiaggia Rosa on Budelli: whilst we won’t be able to go ashore or swim here, we’ll have plenty of time to take photos of this protected natural area.
Next, we’ll stop in the bay of Porto della Madonna, better known as the Natural Pools of Budelli, a vast cove nestled between the islands of Budelli, Razzoli and Santa Maria. Here, we’ll be served lunch on board, featuring a dish of malloreddus with seafood or in the Campidanese style (with sauce and sausage) . There’ll also be fresh fruit, myrtle liqueur or limoncello to round off the meal.
In the afternoon, we’ll head to the island of Santa Maria to enjoy a few final dips and a snack of fresh seasonal fruit and traditional Sardinian sweets, as well as the last dips of the day.
Finally, we’ll head back to Palau at around 5. 00 pm. The whole experience will last approximately 7 and a half hours .
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone without age limits. Children under the age of 18 may participate with signed authorisation from a parent.
The boat is not accessible for wheelchair users or persons with mobility problems.
Other information
The trip runs from April to October and is confirmed once at least four participants have signed up.
Please note!The itinerary and stops may vary depending on weather and sea conditions, at the captain’s sole and absolute discretion, in order to ensure everyone’s safety. The alternative itinerary allows you to explore the southern side of the archipelago.
The meeting point is accessible by public transport. Free and/or paid parking is available on site.
The vessel is a 2024 Lagoon Excess 11 catamaran , measuring 12 x 7 metres with 80 square metres of on-board space, and equipped with a sun deck, a shaded area, a galley, cabins, a fresh-water shower and a toilet. Dogs are not permitted on board.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
