Visiting the area or lying in the sun all day? That is the dilemma! Fortunately, with this dinghy tour you can do both! Come to the province of Sassari, climb aboard an inflatable boat and set off on an exciting tour to discover the islands of Molara and Tavolara.
During the experience you can visit the two islands and the natural wonders the area has to offer, take a swim and enjoy an aperitif on board. Admire the landscape and take unique souvenir photos: with this tour you will experience the perfect day at sea!
What we will do
We’ll meet 30 minutes early at the meeting point in San Teodoro (SS), where our skipper will be waiting for us. Once on board the dinghy, we’ll head towards the Tavolara Marine Protected Area.
Our first stop will be at Cala Brandinchi, where we’ll spend around 30 minutes exploring the stunning beach, and then on to Proratora Island, the southernmost tip of the Capo Coda Cavallo peninsula, famous for the Grotta del Forno, nestled between the sea and the rocks.
We’ll then continue on to Molara Island, renowned for its natural pools: a magical place where the crystal-clear water displays incredible hues. Here we’ll stop for a swim, surrounded by the many species of fish that inhabit this unspoilt area. The cruise will continue along the majestic cliff face of Tavolara, to the south-eastern tip of the island, characterised by imposing limestone cliffs and a deep blue sea. We’ll admire the cave known as Orecchio di Ulisse and, for those who wish, there’ll be the chance to take a dip in the waters of Tejia Liscia.
We will then reach the jetty on the island of Tavolara, mooring at Spalmatore di Terra beach. Here we’ll have about an hour and a half of free time to explore the island, relax on the beach, enjoy a packed lunch or savour local specialities at one of the seaside restaurants or the beach bar.
Once we’re back on the water, we’ll head towards Cala Girgolu, where we can admire the Sassi Piatti – large blocks of granite and limestone shaped by the wind and the sea. We’ll sail along the coast past Spiaggia delle Vacche and stop shortly afterwards at the picturesque Spiaggia della Tartaruga, ideal for a spot of snorkelling in a cove with a tropical feel. Our final swimming stop will be in the bay of Capo Coda Cavallo, where we’ll also be able to enjoy some crisps, prosecco and soft drinks.
Finally, we’ll return to the marina at San Teodoro, situated at the far end of La Cinta beach, just a few minutes’ walk from the original meeting point. The experience will last a total of 6 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable from the age of 3. Children under the age of 18 may participate in the activity accompanied by a responsible adult.
Pregnant women and babies cannot participate in the activity.

The activity is available every day from May to October and will be confirmed once a minimum of 5 participants has been reached.
The dinghy used for the activity is 8 metres long, has a 250 CV engine and a maximum capacity of 12 people. It is a spacious boat, equipped with comfortable seating, a sun deck, a boarding ladder and a fresh water shower.
In the event of food allergies or intolerances, we are unable to guarantee alternative options for the welcome drink.
Halfway through the experience, you’ll have the option to have lunch at a seaside restaurant, subject to booking: please contact the venue using the contact details provided in your booking confirmation email for further information. Alternatively, you may bring a packed lunch.
A free pick-up service is available in the San Teodoro area for up to 4 people: please contact the organiser using the contact details provided in your booking confirmation email to arrange this.
Dogs are not permitted on board.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
