Day excursion by motorboat to Vulcano, Lipari and Stromboli from Vibo Marina

From the Coast of the Gods to the islands inhabited by the god Aeolus: this excursion is bound to be legendary!

Set sail from Vibo Marina aboard a comfortable motorboat and spend a day discovering Vulcano, Lipari and Stromboli. Stroll through the narrow streets of Vulcano and Lipari or relax on the beaches to immerse yourself in the slow rhythms of the archipelago.

Admiring the Sciara del Fuoco at Stromboli will be the most spectacular conclusion you could wish for!

What we will do

The appointment is 30 minutes before 06:20 at the meeting point in Vibo Marina.

Once all participants have gathered and completedboarding the motor vessel, we will begin our navigation along the coast of Vibo Marina, Tropea and Capo Vaticano, travelling at a comfortable cruising speed that will allow us to admire Calabria's most beautiful coastline.

The guide on board will give us directions on how best to plan our stops on the Aeolian islands, while once we reach our destination we will be free to plan our time.

At 10:15 we will reach theisland of Vulcano, where we will stop until 12:15. During the free stopover ashore we will be able to do whatever we wish, from a morning swim on the island's beaches to a visit to the thermal and sulphurous area, not forgetting a walk through the characteristic village.

Departing from Vulcano, we will land in Lipari at 12:30 and stay on the island until 15:30. Depending on our wishes, we can visit the island's various archaeological sites such as theAcropolis or enjoy some traditional Sicilian specialities in the restaurants in the old town.

Finally, from Lipari we will sail in the direction of Stromboli, which we will reach around 17:00. We will circumnavigate thisvolcanic island without going ashore and admire the extraordinary spectacle of the Sciara del Fuoco from the sea , before starting the return voyage.

The return to Vibo Marina is scheduled for around 19:15, and will take approximately 13 hours.

Who it is aimed at

The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Children aged 0 to 1 year participate free of charge. A disembarkation fee of €5 is also payable locally for children.

The boat is wheelchair-accessible: contact the organiser for boarding support.

Other information

The activity is available from April to October on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

Stops on the islands are free for the participants to visit; there is no accompanying guide on land.

The excursion takes place on board a motor vessel 36 m long and with a capacity of 306 persons, equipped with an open deck, indoor area, WC and bar service. It is possible to carry small luggage on the ship. It is not permitted to travel with bulky objects such as beach umbrellas or children's toys. Shoes are permitted on board.

The disembarkation fee of € 5 per person, payable locally, is not included in the fee.

Dogs are not allowed on board.

There is free and/or paid parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport within the excursion departure time.
