Want to experience an unforgettable adventure on the turquoise waters of Sicily?
Treat yourself to a day trip by boat and discover the coast of Palermo, amidst history, nature and maritime traditions. From Palermo, you will visit Mondello, the beautiful Capo Gallo Nature Reserve, and wonderful beaches such as the Virgin Mary Beach andAddaura Beach.
So, what are you waiting for? Get ready to get your fill of sun, sea and fun for your Sicilian holiday!
What we will do
Departure is scheduled at 10.00 am from the port of Palermo. After meeting the skipper and the rest of our small group (up to 12 people), we will board the boat heading towards Spiaggia Vergine Maria.
We will sail for about 20 minutes before reaching our first stop, during which the skipper will tell us curiosities and anecdotes about the scenery we will encounter. Once we arrive at Spiaggia Vergine Maria, we will drop anchor to dive into the wonderful waters that lap the golden sand. During the half-hour swim stop, we can also do some snorkelling if we wish.
The second bathing stop will be at Spiaggia dell'Addaura, another treasure trove of natural beauty, with turquoise sea and hidden coves. We will then arrive at Mondello, Sicily's most famous beach, where we will make another swimming stop. Around 13:30 we will dock at Mondello harbour and have about 1½ hours free time to have lunch and visit the village on foot (lunch is not included in the fee).
Back on board, we will head for the Capo Gallo Nature Reserve, with its impressive rocky coastline alternating with small pebble coves and hidden beaches. The Capo Gallo Beach with its crystal-clear waters and the Sferracavallo Beach, a secret corner protected by the cliffs, will be our next stops. Here, too, we will be able to enjoy a refreshing swim or some relaxation in the sun.
Finally, we will take a last dip at the Grotta della Regina, where Queen Caroline of Austria loved to take refuge for her baths. Return to Palermo is scheduled at 18.00.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is open to everyone, with no age limit. Children aged 0 to 3 years participate free of charge.

Attention! Please arrive at the embarkation point approximately 45 minutes in advance.
This activity can be carried out from April to October, depending on weather and sea conditions, and is confirmed when there are at least 8 participants.
Depending on availability, the excursion can be carried out on state-of-the-art motor boats or 10-metre rubber dinghies. All boats are equipped with every comfort, including awnings for shelter from the sun.
Dogs are not allowed on board.
The day's programme may be subject to change depending on the weather.
