Gulet excursion from San Vito Lo Capo to the Zingaro Nature Reserve with lunch

From the sundeck of a gulet, everything is more beautiful!

And if the subject is the Zingaro Nature Reserve, even more so: enjoy sailing from San Vito Lo Capo to discover the wonders of the coast. Along the way, there will be no shortage of bathroom stops to immerse yourself in these splendid natural settings.

A day on board, to which you can raise a glass over lunch!

What we will do

The rendezvous is at 9.30 am at the meeting point in San Vito Lo Capo (TP). We will be welcomed by thecrew who will accompany us on this adventure by sea!

Once all passengers have finished boarding, we will set sail at 10:00 am. We will say goodbye to San Vito Lo Capo by skirting its famous beach and then head towards Punta Solanto to sight the Torre dell'Usciere. After a few minutes, there is a new attraction on the horizon: the historic Tonnara del Secco tuna fishery, next to which the remains of the characteristic tuna processing plant are still visible.

Sailing southwards, we skirt the stretch of coast known as'Firriato': here we find the Bay of Venus and the eponymous 'lake' framed by rocks. We will then sight the Torre dell'Impisu, before entering the Zingaro Nature Reserve: we will pass by the Tonnarella dell ' Uzzo and stop for a swim near Cala dell'Uzzo. Other scenic destinations will follow: Cala Beretta, Cala della Disa, Cala Marinella, Cala del Varo and Cala Capreria.

We will continue sailing to the famous Faraglioni of Scopello, the historic Tonnara di Scopello and the bay of the same name where lunch will be served on board (included), which includes a pasta dish with fish and fruit, all accompanied by water and wine. Along the way, there are 2 swimming stops lasting 30 minutes each.

During the months of July and August, the tour will be extended and a third 30-minute bathing stop will be made in a cove of the Zingaro Nature Reserve, varying according to weather and sea conditions. During these months, lunch will also include two appetisers, as well as a first course, fruit, water and wine.

Return will be at 15:00 in May, June and September (duration 5 hours), at 17:00 in July and August (duration 7 hours).

Who it is aimed at

The experience is suitable for everyone with no age limit; children under the age of 18 need not be accompanied by an adult.

The boat is not wheelchair-accessible, but people with reduced mobility are welcome and are invited to contact the organiser at the contact details given in the booking confirmation e-mail to request boarding support.

Other information

The experience takes place from May to September and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 10 participants.

There is free and/or paid parking on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

Thesailing itinerary may vary at the discretion of the skipper.

Theboat is a 24-metre-long sailing gulet with living areas, shaded sunbathing areas at the bow and stern, climbing ladder, toilet, shower, bar service for a fee on board. Clean, light-soled shoes are permitted on board. Dogs are not allowed on board.
