Horses, donkeys, goats, piglets, chickens, ducks, peacocks. We are not making a roll-call of Noah's Ark passengers, but listing some of the friendly friends you will meet in this magical experience on an educational farm in Castelnuovo Scrivia!
Rediscover the pleasure of contact with animals in this3-hour experience suitable for young and old. Stroll around the farm, feed your new furry friends and take the opportunity to take some photos.
And to crown this day of nature and fun, treat the whole family to a saddle christening with the trusty steed Snappy!
What we will do
The meeting will take place at the meeting point in Castelnuovo Scrivia (AL ) at the time agreed upon at the time of booking.
Waiting for us will be Giulia, owner of the farm and equestrian instructor. She will immediately hand us a basket full of carrots and fodder that we can distribute to the animals we meet along our walk.
We will continue our visit of the farm on our own, stopping from time to time in front of the pens of our little friends to give them a snack, cuddle them and take photos. We will learn some interesting facts about them thanks to the information written here and there along the way. For example, did you know that piglets are very intelligent and that the chinchilla orients itself in space with the help of its whiskers?
During our two-hour free visit to the farm, we will meet very friendly animals. Amongst horses, donkeys, goats, piglets, chickens, ducks, peacocks, skunks, chinchillas, hedgehogs and emus, we will become children again, rediscovering the magic of the animal world. With some of them we will be able to interact, pet and feed them, while others can be admired from a distance, such as the vain peacocks.
We will personally meet the stars of this farm, adored by young and old alike: the Blue emu, the Eva goat and, above all, the Snappy horse. It will be with him that we will conclude our outing with a saddle christening, a first horse-riding experience suitable for the little ones. Accompanied by Giulia, young and old alike will be able to experience the thrill of riding a horse for the first time by taking a ride inside an enclosure.
The experience will last a total of 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a participating parent.
Saddle baptism can be carried out independently from the age of 2.
For persons with motor disabilities and children under 18 months, the activity is free of charge.
The farm ride is suitable for people in wheelchairs or with reduced mobility.
Other information
The activity is available from March to November on Saturdays and Sundays.
Aplay area for toddlers and apicnic area are available on site. You can bring food and drinks from home.
Leashed dogs are allowed.
The property is not accessible by public transport. Free parking is available on site.
