Rent a d inghy and explore the most beautiful coves of Syracuse and the island of Ortigia in total privacy and freedom. You can hire the dinghy even without a licence. On board there will be everything you need to spend a wonderful day together with whoever you want.
When purchasing, you can choose whether to hire the dinghy for half a day (4h) or a full day (8h).

What we will do
The almost 6-metre, 40-hp Aqua Intepid dinghy is waiting for you at the Syracuse dock. The staff will come to welcome you and explain everything you need to know about driving and the rules for safe navigation. They will also give you some advice on where to go and the most beautiful areas to visit.
At this point, you can set sail and decide on theitinerary that suits you best. You can visit the beautiful island of Ortigia, the oldest part of Syracuse, the Maniace Castle, the Venetian Palace, or visit the most picturesque caves along the coast, such as the Grotta dell'Amore.
You can also visit the most beautiful beaches and dive into the water to swim in the turquoise sea. After 4 or 8 hours of rental (to be chosen at the time of booking) you will return the dinghy to the starting point.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is open to everyone. You do not need a licence to drive the dinghy, but a minimum age of 18 is required.

Rental runs from May to October, subject to weather and sea conditions.
The 5.95-metre, 40-hp Aqua Intrepid dinghy is equipped with all comforts, including an awning, comfortable sundeck fore and aft, shower, and radio. It is approved for 12 people, but for reasons of safety and comfort on board, a maximum of 5/6 people are allowed on board. It can be driven without a licence.
Please note! Fuel is not included in the rental price and will be paid at the end of the trip, according to consumption.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
