Renting a dinghy in Santa Maria di Ricadi with your company of up to 10 people, you can venture out without a licence to explore the province of Vibo Valentia by sea, from Tropea to Capo Vaticano.
A half-day or full-day experience depending on the preferences of your 'crew'!
What we will do
The rendezvous is at the selected time at the meeting point in Santa Maria di Ricadi (VV), where you will find the charterer waiting for you. After a briefing of about 30 minutes during which you will be explained how to manage the boat and some advice on the best route to follow, you will be able to get on board.
The boat is a 5.90-metre-long dinghy with a 40 HP engine and a canopy, which can also be driven without a licence. You can also bring food and drink on board to toast in company.
Together with your 'crew', you will sail along the Costa degli Dei to discover wonderful destinations such as Capo Vaticano and Tropea. This stretch of coastline takes its name from an ancient Greek legend that the gods chose to reside there because of theincredible beauty of the landscape, characterised by long beaches and jagged rocks!
You will finally return to the meeting point. The rental will last 4 ½ hours (half-day) or 9 ½ hours (full-day), depending on the option selected at the time of booking.
Who it is aimed at
The hirer and driver must be at least 18 years old. There is no age limit for the passenger.
The boat does not require a licence.
The boat is accessible to persons with mobility problems.
Other information
The experience takes place from May to October.
Fuel is not included and will be paid on return according to consumption, in cash or by debit/credit card.
You remain barefoot on board the boat. Dogs are not allowed on board.
There is paid parking in the vicinity of the meeting point. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.
