Fulfil your dream of becoming a captain with a dinghy hire in Lignano Sabbiadoro!
Without a boat licence, you will enjoy driving a "crew" of up to 10 people along the Adriatic coast of Bibione or the Grado and Marano Lagoon.
A chance to spend awhole day at sea!
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at the meeting point in Lignano Sabbiadoro (UD). On your arrival you will be welcomed by the charterer for the handover of the boat reserved for you.
You will drive without a licence a 6.35-metre-long Acquaviva 635 dinghy with a Mercury 40 hp engine, equipped with bow sundeck, awning and nautical GPS. On board you can also bring food and drinks to toast in company!
Before setting sail, the hirer will explain how to manoeuvre the dinghy and give you nautical maps to help you find your way around the open sea without difficulty. You decide on the itinerary: starting from Lignano Sabbiadoro you can choose whether to take your crew towards the Venetian lagoon of Bibione, or to head towards the lagoon of Grado and Marano. During the trip you can also decide to stop at anchor for a dive off the coast.
At the end of the charter you will return to the meeting point. The charter will last a total of 8.5 hours (full day).
Who it is aimed at
The charterer and driver must be at least 18 years old; this boat may be chartered without a licence. There is no age limit for passengers.
The boat is not wheelchair-accessible, but people with reduced mobility are welcome on board: please contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to report your presence and request boarding support.
Other information
Rental is available from May to September.
There is paid parking on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
Fuel is not included and must be paid on return according to consumption in cash or by credit/debit card.
You remain barefoot on board. Dogs are allowed on board.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
