For those who love the sea, the Gulf of Orosei is a huge aquatic playground full of new emotions to be experienced.
Explore every cave and ravine aboard an inflatable boat that will take you from Marina di Orosei to Cala Mariolu, Cala Biriala and Cala Luna, to relax on Sardinia's most beautiful beaches and admire unique views.
Get ready to spend a day with a smile in the company of a friendly skipper and other adventurous shipmates!
What we will do
We will meet 30 minutes before 9:30 a.m. at the indicated meeting point in Marina di Orosei (NU).
We will be welcomed by our skipper, who will also act as our guide on this day on the crystal-clear waters of the Gulf of Orosei. Once the group has been formed, we will start sailing down the coast to admire the many small caves and coves hidden along the way.
The skipper will decide on the best itinerary based on sea traffic and weather conditions. The main stops will be Cala Mariolu, where we will moor on the beach for 1.5 hours, Cala Biriala and Cala Luna, with a stop on the beach for an hour each.
At Cala Luna we will have a bar/restaurant where we can refresh ourselves with something fresh during the day, while during one of the stops we will be able to enjoy the packed lunch we will have brought with us.
For those who wish, there will be the possibility of visiting the Grotta del Fico (entrance fee not included, to be paid on site), as an alternative to one of the stops on the beach and in agreement with the skipper on board.
But the adventure does not end here, because the secret stops on the tour will be even more surprising than the known wonders. The skipper will lead us to the discovery of small natural pools, secluded coves and perfect snorkelling grounds, which will make us appreciate even more this miracle of nature that is the Gulf of Orosei.
The excursion will end with a return to the starting point at around 17:30, after about 8 hours .
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limit.
Children under 12 months are free of charge, but their presence must be notified to the contact details given in the booking confirmation email.
The tour is not suitable for pregnant women or persons with reduced mobility.
Other information
The excursion takes place from April to October and is confirmed with a minimum of 6 persons.
The itinerary and stops may vary depending on sea traffic and weather conditions, at the skipper's discretion.
The boat used is an 8-metre dinghy, with a 250 hp engine, equipped with a stereo, a freshwater shower and a climbing ladder. The dinghy is not equipped with an awning for easier access to caves and small coves; coastal navigation takes place mainly in the shade.
The visit to the Grotta del Fico is optional and requires payment of the entrance fee on site. The cost is €10 for adults and €5 for children between the ages of 6 and 12, payable by card or cash.
Small to medium-sized dogs are allowed on board.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport; free parking is available on site.
