Spend a day exploring the Baunei coastline with us!
Or rather, with our skipper, who’ll welcome you aboard his dinghy and take you on this adventure: you’ll sail to discover the most stunning natural attractions, from Cala Mariolu to the Piscine di Venere. With stops for a swim and on the beach, so you can fully ‘immerse’ yourself in the Sardinian sea.
What we will do
We’ll meet 30 minutes before the scheduled time at the meeting point in Arbatax (NU), where the skipper will welcome us on board. After boarding, we’ll set sail towards the coast of Baunei, passing through Santa Maria Navarrese to pick up any further passengers.
Our first stop will be at the spectacular Baus Waterfalls, where we’ll stop for a swim. We’ll then continue on to Cala Scirocco and Cala Tramontana, where we’ll be able to see the shipwreck on the seabed.
We’ll then reach the spot for one of the day’s most magical experiences: a swim inside a natural cave, such as the Grotta della Contessa ( or another cave, depending on sea conditions) .
The trip will continue with a scenic visit to Cala Goloritzè, which we’ll admire at a leisurely pace from the sea, followed by a swim in the splendid waters of the Sorgenti area. Other stops we’ll make during the day will be Cala Mariolu (beach stop of approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes) , Piscine di Venere (swimming stop) , Cala Luna ( beach stop of approximately 1 hour) and Cala Biriala ( beach stop of approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes) .
We are due to return in the afternoon, with the experience lasting a total of around 8 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone without age limits; children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
The excursion is not recommended for persons with mobility problems and pregnant women.
Other information
The experience takes place from May to October and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 4 participants.
An alternative embarkation point is available in Santa Maria Navarrese with scheduled departure at about 09: 20. Contact the skipper at the contact details given in the booking confirmation e-mail to request the alternative meeting point.
Excluded from the on-site fee is the Beach Ticket of 3€ per person to be paid on site in cash.
There is free and/or paid parking on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
The itinerary and duration of the excursion may vary depending on weather conditions at the skipper's discretion.
The boat is an 8-metre-long dinghy equipped with an awning and climbing ladder. No footwear is allowed on board, you remain barefoot. Smoking is prohibited on board.
Dogs are not allowed on board. A dog kennel is available near the meeting point: contact the skipper at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail for more information.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
