Dinghy day tour in the Zingaro Nature Reserve with lunch and aperitif

Spend a whole day in the coveted Zingaro Nature Reserve, escaping in search of the beach? You can by taking part in our dinghy tour!

A skipper will accompany you to discover the best natural attractions between San Vito Lo Capo and the Zingaro Nature Reserve. Do you know the Faraglioni? Yes, those very ones. And the village of Castellamare del Golfo? Yes, that's the one.

And to end on a high note, lunch and an aperitif on board to toast the wonder of Sicily!

What we will do

I will be waiting for you 30 minutes before 10 a.m. at the meeting point in San Vito Lo Capo (TP). I am your skipper and on board my dinghy I will accompany you on this adventure by sea to discover San Vito Lo Capo and the Zingaro Nature Reserve!

Once we have finished boarding all the passengers, we will be ready to set sail. We will sail along the coast of San Vito Lo Capo, admiring sights such as the San Vito Beach, Monte Monaco, the Saracen Tower, the Tonnara del Secco, Cala Firriato, Lake Venus, and the Impiso Tower (or 'Mpisu, as we call it in my parts). We will then enter the Zingaro Nature Reserve, where we will find the Tonnarella dell'Uzzo to welcome us.

There will be numerous attractions in the Zingaro Nature Reserve that we will encounter during our navigation: Cala dell'Uzzo, Grotta degli Innamorati, Cala Marinella, Cala Berretta, Cala della Disa, Cala del Varo, and Cala Capreria. We will then continue on to the Tonnara di Scopello and the Faraglioni, scenic guardians that protect the fishing village. Meanwhile, a lunch (included) of typical Sicilian products such as sfincione or pane cunzato will be served on board, depending on availability.

We will then reach Castellammare del Golfo, where we will stop for a 1.5-hour shore break during which we will be able to stroll independently through the characteristic Sicilian-style streets. We will continue to Cala Bianca, where we will stop for snorkelling given the seabed rich in flora and fauna; by the way, you can use the masks provided on board. Meanwhile, a refreshing aperitif (included) of assorted fruit accompanied by a glass of white wine will be served on board.

And after bidding farewell to Cala Rossa with a dip, the last of many as there are numerous bathing stops during the navigation, we will return to the meeting point. The experience has a total duration of 8 hours.

Who it is aimed at

The experience is suitable for everyone from 3 years of age; children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

The boat is not wheelchair accessible.

Other information

The experience is available from May to October and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 6 participants.

The meeting point is easily accessible by public transport and on foot.

The boat is a 9-metre-long dinghy with a 300-horsepower engine, equipped with awning, fresh water shower, toilet and fridge. No shoes are allowed on board; only rubber boat shoes or barefoot. Dogs are not allowed on board.
