Full description
Yes Mr Captain!
That's exactly what we will call you on this dinghy excursion from San Teodoro: you will be able to put on the captain's clothes and try to manoeuvre the boat, following the teachings of an expert skipper. There will also be a dive in the beautiful natural setting of the Molara Pools.
A 3-hour experience, to be enjoyed together with your 'crew'!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Puntaldia, in the municipality of San Teodoro (SS). You will be met by the skipper, ready to welcome you on board theboat reserved for you and your group.
The boat is a Lomac dinghy, 8 metres long and 3.50 metres wide. It is equipped with a 250-horsepower Honda engine, a canopy for shelter from the sun, and watertight bags for storing personal items.
After boarding, you will be ready to set sail for theTavolara Marine Protected Area. During navigation, you will have the privilege of wearing the captain's garb: the skipper will teach you how to stay on course, pull over and many other manoeuvres until you draw a full circle in the water! Your fellow adventurers can also turn into crew members and learn how to manoeuvre the dinghy!
And thanks to your guide, you will reach the Piscine di Molara (Molara Pools): you will stop for about 30 minutes in this beautiful natural setting for a snorkelling stop. You will also enjoy the company of the skipper, who will accompany you to discover the marine species that inhabit the Sardinian sea.
Back on board, you will finally return to the meeting point. The experience will last a total of 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The driver must be at least 16 years old. The passenger must be at least 5 years old.
No boat licence or other licence is required to participate.
The boat is not accessible to persons with mobility problems and/or pregnant women.
Other information
The experience takes place from April to October.
Itis possible to enrich the experience with a scuba dive: the skipper is also a diving instructor and has the necessary equipment on board; the latter is free of charge for experience participants. Should you decide to enrich the experience with a scuba dive, the time devoted to the driving test will be reduced.
Dogs are not allowed.
Toilet and shower facilities are available at the meeting point.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
