Full description
Wind-eroded coastlines, pebble beaches, caves and crystal-clear waters: the Gulf of Orosei offers one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline in the Mediterranean. Explore it aboard an inflatable boat on aday trip from the port of Arbatax to the magnificent Cala Luna.
During the navigation you can admire hidden cliffs and ravines, discovering their secrets, while the long bathing stops will allow you to enjoy to the full some of Sardinia's most beautiful beaches, such as Cala Goloritzé, Cala Mariolu and Cala Luna.
It will be a day of relaxation and the unspoilt beauty of nature!
What we will do
The appointment is at 8. 30 a. m. at the meeting point in Arbatax. Here we will find the spacious dinghy and the skipper waiting for us, who will take us to discover the magnificent bays of the Gulf of Orosei.
After taking a seat on board, around 9. 00 a. m. we will start sailing along the coast. We will admire caves, ravines and cliffs sculpted by nature over millennia, discovering stories and anecdotes. After about 90 minutes of sailing, we will arrive at Cala Goloritzé, where we will stop for a 20-minute swim.
We will then continue on to Cala Mariolu, one of the pearls of our tour. Here we will stop for about an hour and a half to enjoy its sandy beach and colourful pebbles, lapped by deep turquoise waters.
Around lunchtime we will disembark at Cala Luna, a dazzling 800-metre stretch of sand at the mouth of a stream, also popular with snorkelling enthusiasts.
At Cala Luna we will have a long 2-hour beach break: we will have time to relax in the sun or have lunch in the beach bar-restaurant. The staff will also provide participants with a parasol and a cooler.
Around 15. 00 we will resume sailing and make a final beach stop of about 1 hour at Cala Biriola. We will then reverse course and return to Arbatax, always sailing in view of the wonders of the coast.
The total duration of the activity will be about 8 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is open to all, with no age limit. Children under the age of 2 can participate free of charge.
Other information
The excursion is available every day from 1 June to 15 October.
The boat used is a 6.50-metre long Flamar dinghy with a 150-horsepower 4-stroke engine, equipped with awning, shower and large sundeck. The dinghy is not wheelchair accessible.
The itinerary and duration of stops may vary depending on weather and sea conditions.
Dogs are not allowed on board.
For those arriving by car, the marina has a free car park.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
