Full description
Sea blue, mountain green, turquoise waters: we are not describing a work of art, but a detailed picture of the colours you will admire during this 4-hour dinghy excursion in Calabria.
The Aranci Coast, with its varied coastline and framed by the villages of Magna Graecia, will amaze you with its golden sandy beaches, seabed visible to the naked eye, and caves and cliffs guardians of ancient legends.
An aperitif with fruit and prosecco and two relaxing bathing stops will brighten up the tour!
What we will do
We will meet in Badolato at the place and time indicated in the booking (arrive 15 minutes beforehand).
Here we will be welcomed aboard our dinghy, to begin our navigation accompanied by the skipper.
From the old perched villages of Badolato, we will skirt the coast to reach Soverato, with its almost white sandy beach, and then continue towards the Gulf of Squillace, crossing Copanello di Stalettì, with its turquoise-hued sea and sandy seabed.
Then on to Caminia beach, nestled between two panoramic cliffs full of caves. On the right we will see the Torrazzo cliff, while at sea level we will find the two entrances to the cave of San Gregorio, which can only be reached by swimming or by boat. This cave is named after St Gregory the Wonderworker: it is here, according to tradition, that the relics of the ancient Greek bishop arrived.
Finally, we head for the beach of Pietragrande. Very characteristic is the Pietra Grande rock, which rises in the crystal-clear sea with turquoise hues and has a rocky seabed all around, perfect for snorkelling.
During the excursion we will make two half-hour bathing stops, at destinations decided by the skipper according to weather and sea conditions. A small aperitif with fruit and prosecco will also be served on board.
We will then return to Badolato at the end of the 4-hour excursion.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limit.
Children from 0 to 2 years old participate free of charge: contact the organisers after confirmation of your booking to inform them of your attendance.
From the age of 16, you can participate alone, unaccompanied by a parent.
The boat is not wheelchair accessible.
Other information
The activity takes place from June to September, with a minimum of 8 participants.
The excursion is conducted on board a 6.80 m dinghy, equipped with a canopy and freshwater shower.
Small to medium-sized dogs are allowed on board (max. 1 per participant).
The meeting place is in Badolato, which can be reached by car and public transport (station 500 m away). On-site parking is available.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
