Full description
Palermo is good food, intertwining cultures, but above all sea, sea, sea!
Climb aboard a modern and comfortable dinghy and set off on askippered excursion to the Capo Gallo Reserve. Take a dip in the famous Mondello Bay, get on the SUP and try to stay balanced and enjoy the beauty of the Sicilian sea!
What we will do
The rendezvous is 15 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in Palermo (PA). After a welcome from the skipper, we will board the comfortable 10-person dinghy, ready to set off.
We will set sail from the jetty next to the historic residence of the Florio family, which we will admire from the sea, and immediately reach the Grotta della Regina, a place full of mystery. It is said that Queen Caroline of Austria loved to relax in a pool carved into the rock, surrounded by a breathtaking panorama. Here, between sculpted walls and natural light effects, we will take our first refreshing swim.
We will continue sailing along theAddaura coast, a stretch of sea dominated by imposing sheer mountains, until we reach the Bay of Mondello, where another stop for a swim awaits us. On board we will be served fresh seasonal fruit and refreshing drinks, to recharge our batteries and enjoy the experience.
The last stop will be the spectacular Grotta dell'Olio, a real hidden gem in the Capo Gallo Nature Reserve. Part of the entrance is submerged, so it will only be accessible by swimming or canoeing. Once inside, we will find ourselves under a domed vault over 10 metres high, where a ray of natural light penetrates from above creating incredible blue reflections on the water. Here we will take our last swim before returning to the port.
The activity will last a total of four hours.

The activity is suitable for everyone from 6 years old and up.
The boat is not wheelchair-accessible.
Other information
The activity is available from May to September and is confirmed with a minimum of 4 participants.
The venue is easily accessible by public transport and has a large car park.
You will be on board a 9.20 m long and 3.15 m wide dinghy that is brand new and equipped with every comfort, including shower, toilet, refrigerator, sundeck and awning. A SUP board and snorkelling kit are also available on board.
Dogs are not allowed on board the dinghy.
