Hire a dinghy in Villasimius to venture into theCapo Carbonara Marine Protected Area with your family or group of friends.
Villasimius, the pearl of southern Sardinia, is the ideal starting point to explore the Capo Carbonara promontory where beautiful white beaches intersperse with small cliffs. You will have a wide choice of stops to choose from such as Porto sa Ruxi, Campulongu or the world-famous Porto Giunco.
To drive the 5.70-metre-long dinghy with a 40-hp engine you will not need a licence, so get ready to take the helm and sail on clear, shimmering waters!
What we will do
I will be waiting for you at the tourist port of Villasimius at the time agreed at the time of booking. Upon your arrival, I will accompany you to the spot where the dinghy is moored and hand it over to you after a brief explanation on how to manoeuvre it.
The dinghy is 5.70 metres long and has a 40 HP engine; it is equipped with a canopy, a shower, and life jackets for adults and children, so everyone can enjoy a nice swim in the crystal clear sea!
Sailing in theMarine Protected Area of Capo Carbonara you can reach some of the most beautiful beaches and coves dotting the coast, such as the famous Porto Giunco, home to a population of pink flamingos. Another not-to-be-missed stop is theIsola dei Cavoli (Island of Cabbages ), which emerges from turquoise and crystal-clear waters.
While sailing you can admire white sand dunes caressed by the blue sea and framed by the Mediterranean maquis: a picture postcard landscape that characterises the beaches of Porto Sa Ruxi, Campus and Campulongu.
When booking, you can choose to hire the dinghy for 3½ hours by selecting'Half a day' or for 8½ hours by selecting'Full day'. The rental will end when the boat is returned to port.
Who it is aimed at
There isno age limit for passengers in the dinghy, but you must be at least 18 years old to drive the boat. A boating licence is not required.
Other information
The dinghy can be hired daily from May to October.
The boat available for hire is a 2022Just Slik Panama dinghy , equipped with an awning and shower. Life jackets for adults and children are on board. Dogs are not allowed on board.
The dinghy can be driven even if you do not have a boat licence, but if you prefer to relax and enjoy sailing, you can request the presence of a skipper on board at an extra cost to be paid on site of 100€ for half a day and 150€ for the whole day. If you would like to take advantage of this option, please contact the skipper once you receive the booking confirmation e-mail.
The dinghy will be delivered with a full tank of fuel. Fuel is not included in the rental fee, so you only pay for what you have actually consumed at the end of the rental period by refilling the tank.
When collecting the dinghy you will be asked to pay a deposit of €400 in cash or pre-authorised by credit card, which will be returned to you when you return to port at the end of the rental period if the dinghy is undamaged.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
