After this day, returning 'under the umbrella' will be very difficult.
Hire an inflatable boat just for you and your group of up to 6 people in Arbatax and venture out to discover Ogliastra, amid spectacular coves, transparent water, and bathing stops decided on the spot.
You will be able to reach authentic wonders of Sardinia such as Cala Luna and Cala Goloritzé, experiencing the sea in total freedom. And no: a licence is not required!
What we will do
The rendezvous is at the indicated time at the meeting point in Arbatax (NU), where the on-site staff will welcome you and hand you over the boat.
Before letting you take off, the staff will give you a short briefing on the operation of the boat, the controls, safety rules, and, if necessary, you will take a test ride together. The boat used is a Tempest dinghy, 5. 3 metres in length and equipped with a 40 HP Yamaha engine, sun canopy, climbing ladder and cooler.
Once ready, you will be able to sail in total autonomy to the most famous points of interest on the coast, such as the imposing monolith of Pedra Longa, Cala Dei Gabbiani and the spectacular Cala Luna, famous for its large natural caves. You can plan your itinerary and stops according to your desires. It will be impossible to resist the iridescent hues of Cala Mariolu, formed by small white pebbles, or a dip in front of the iconic pinnacle of Cala Goloritzé.
At the end of the day, you will have to return to the departure point by 17: 00 for the return of the dinghy and the check of the fuel consumed. The charter will last a total of 9 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The driver must be at least 18 years old; this boat can be driven without a licence. There is no age limit for passengers.
The boat is not wheelchair accessible.
Other information
The charter is available from May to October.
The boat is delivered with a full tank; the fuel will be paid on return to the port according to actual consumption (in cash or by card) . A deposit is not required.
For disembarking ashore and visiting specific coves on the coast, it is necessary to download the Heart of Sardinia mobile application and book access on the day of the activity.
Dogs are not allowed on board.
On-site parking spaces are available for a fee. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
