Full description
Set out to discover the beautiful Gulf of Orosei on board a rented dinghy for 6 people.
Set sail from Arbatax and explore some of the most beautiful bays in the area, such as Cala Goloritzé, Cala Mariolu, Cala Luna and Cala dei Gabbiani.
When booking, you can request a half-day (4 hours ) orfull-day (8 hours) charter. In addition, you do not need a licence to drive this type of boat.

What we will do
Your 5.5 m dinghy with a 40 HP engine will be waiting for you at the Arbatax marina from 8.30 am.
We will meet you at our office, at the meeting point indicated in the booking confirmation, to sign the rental contract. In this case, a boat licence is not required, but please remember to bring an identification document with you.
We will explain in detail the characteristics of the coastline and give you all the indications for safe navigation in the Gulf of Orosei. We will also give you a map with the main points you can reach by dinghy and a cooler.
We will then go together to the jetty and have a short briefing to explain how the boat works. After that you will be ready for your dinghy trip!
Depending on the time of day and your preferences, you may sail in the direction of Cala Mariolu and Cala dei Gabbiani, to enjoy a swim and snorkel in their crystal-clear waters. Cala Luna, on the other hand, might be suitable for a lunch break, given the presence of a bar-restaurant on site.
If you have rented the dinghy for the whole day, you should also have enough time to go as far as Cala Goloritzé, the pearl of the Gulf of Orosei.
Depending on the duration of the rental (4 or 8 hours), you will have to return the dinghy to the starting point by 13:30 or 17:30.
Who it is aimed at
Theminimum age for chartering is 18. A sailing licence is not required.
The activity is not recommended for persons with back or mobility problems and pregnant women.
The dinghy is not wheelchair-accessible.
Other information
Rental is bookable from May to October, depending on sea weather conditions.
You will be on board a 5.5 m BWA or Lomac dinghy, with a Yamaha or Suzuki 40 HP engine, equipped with an awning for shelter from the sun.
When booking, you can choose between a "half-day (4 h )" or "full-day (8 h)" rental. Half-day hire is available in May, June, September and October, while full-day hire is available in July and August.
The boat can be driven without a licence, but on request it is possible to be accompanied by a skipper at an extra cost of €120 (full day only). Please note that the skipper reduces the number of embarkable passengers from 6 to 5, so you may have to hire a larger dinghy according to your needs.
Dogs of all sizes are allowed on board. According to the regulations, however, dogs may not disembark on the beaches: they must remain on the dinghy.
Caution! Fuel is not included in the rental price and will be paid at the end of the excursion, according to consumption.
