Explore the magnificent coastline of the Gulf of Orosei in complete freedom by hiring a 5. 5-metre inflatable boat in Arbatax – no boat licence required!
The boat can accommodate up to 6 passengers, making it perfect for a family or a group of friends. The staff will provide you with beach umbrellas, a cool bag and a map of the coast so you can spend a relaxing day in some of Sardinia’s most sought-after coves, such as Cala Goloritze, Cala Mariolu and Cala Luna.
What we will do
Your 5. 5 m inflatable boat with a 40 CV engine is waiting for you in Arbatax (NU). It will be handed over to you from 8. 30 am, along with a parasol, a cool bag, a map of the coast featuring photos of the most beautiful coves, and plenty of tips to help you make the most of your day.
To hire the dinghy, you’ll need to bring a form of ID for the driver: a boat licence isn’t required in this case. Our skippers will explain how the engine works and all the procedures for operating the dinghy safely. You’ll carry out a few test manoeuvres within the harbour and then you’ll be free to set sail.
With its wind-sculpted coastline, rich in caves, cliffs and hidden coves, the Gulf of Orosei offers endless opportunities to relax in unspoilt natural surroundings. You could head to Cala Goloritze and Cala Mariolu to take a dip in their crystal-clear waters, stop off at the Piscine di Venere, or venture as far as Cala Luna, about a 2-hour boat ride from Arbatax.
Here you’ll find a magnificent stretch of golden sand at the mouth of a stream, as well as a bar-restaurant for a lunch break if you wish. At the end of your day of exploration, you’ll need to return the dinghy to the starting point by 17: 30/18: 00.
The hire period will be 9 hours.

The minimum age for hire is 18. A boat licence is not required.
The boat is not accessible to people with mobility issues.

The boat can be booked from May to October.
The Flamar inflatable boat is 5. 5 metres long, can accommodate up to 6 people and is fitted with an awning to provide shelter from the sun.
For those operating the dinghy independently, it is compulsory to book a landing at beaches in the Gulf of Orosei and pay the environmental fee online ( €3. 00 from Cala Gabbiani to Cala Sisine, plus €2. 50 for Cala Luna only ). The QR code required for access will be provided by staff at the office upon check-in; please note that you must show this code to staff on the beaches: without the QR code, you will not be permitted to disembark or gain access.
Dogs are allowed on board, but according to the regulations they may not disembark on the beaches: they must remain on the dinghy at all times.
Please note! Fuel is not included in the hire price and must be paid for at the end of the excursion, based on consumption.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
