Full description
Explore the magnificent coastline of the Gulf of Orosei in total freedom by hiring a 5.5 m dinghy at the tourist port of Arbatax (NU), without a licence.
Up to 6 passengers can be accommodated on board, perfect for a family or a group of friends. The staff will provide you with beach umbrellas, a cooler bag, and a map of the coast to spend a relaxing day in some of Sardinia's most popular coves, such as Cala Goloritze, Cala Mariolu, and Cala Luna.
What we will do
Your 5.5 m dinghy with a 40 HP engine is waiting for you at the 'Marina di Arbatax' (NU) marina. It will be handed over to you from 8.30 a.m. onwards, together with an umbrella, a cooler bag, a map of the coast with photos of the most beautiful coves, and lots of advice on how to make the most of your day.
To hire the dinghy, you will need to bring along a driver's identification document: a boat licence is not required in this case. Our skippers will explain how the engine works and all the procedures for driving the dinghy safely. You will do some trial manoeuvres within the harbour and then you will be free to set sail.
With its coastline shaped by the wind, full of caves, cliffs and hidden beaches, the Gulf of Orosei offers endless opportunities to relax in unspoilt nature. You could reach Cala Goloritze and Cala Mariolu to dive into their transparent waters, make a stop at the Piscine di Venere (Venus Pools ) or push on to Cala Luna, about a two-hour boat ride from Arbatax.
Here you will find a magnificent tongue of golden sand at the mouth of a stream, as well as a bar-restaurant for a possible lunch break. You can disembark from the dinghy and stop on the beaches thanks to the ticket included in the rental.
At the end of your day of exploration, you must return the dinghy to the starting point by 17.30/18.00.
The duration of the rental will be 9 hours.
Who it is aimed at
Theminimum age for chartering is 18 years. It is not necessary to be in possession of a boating licence.
Other information
Rental is bookable from 1 May to 1 October. You can pick up the dinghy from 8.30 a.m., with return by 5.30 p.m.-6 p.m.
The Flamar d inghy is 5.5 m long, can accommodate up to 6 people, and is equipped with an awning for shelter from the sun.
When booking, you can choose between the " without sk ipper" and "with skipper" options . In the latter case you will be accompanied for the whole day by one of our experienced skippers at an additional cost of €80.
Dogs are allowed on board, but according to the regulations they are not allowed on the beaches: they must remain on the dinghy.
Attention! Fuel is not included in the rental price and will be paid at the end of the excursion, according to consumption.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
