Set off from Arbatax (NU ) on board a 5.9 m dinghy rental with a 40 HP engine for a day of relaxation and adventure in the Gulf of Orosei.
This rental is perfect for a group of friends or a large family: the dinghy can carry up to 8 passengers. The staff will provide you with beach umbrellas, a cooler bag, and a map of the coast to explore some of Sardinia's most beautiful bays, such as Cala Goloritze, Cala Mariolu, and Cala Luna.
A boat licence is not required, but if you prefer to be accompanied by a skipper, simply choose this option when booking. We are waiting for you!
What we will do
Your 5.9 m dinghy with a 40 HP engine is waiting for you at the 'Marina di Arbatax' (NU) marina. It will be handed over to you from 8.30 a.m. onwards, together with an umbrella, a cooler bag, a map of the coast with photos of the most beautiful coves, and lots of advice on how to make the most of your day.
To hire the dinghy, you will need to bring along a driver's identification document: a boat licence is not required in this case. Our skippers will explain how the engine works and all the procedures for driving the dinghy safely. You will do some trial manoeuvres in the harbour and then you will be free to set sail.
Together with your happy brigade, you will enjoy a full day of sailing and fun in the Gulf of Orosei, discovering its most beautiful caves and coves, such as Cala Goloritze and Cala Mariolu. You will be free to decide the time and duration of the stops yourself, to devote the right amount of time to relaxation and swimming in the sea.
One of the most popular destinations in the area is the beautiful beach of Cala Luna, a tongue of golden sand at the mouth of a stream, where there is also a convenient bar-restaurant for a possible lunch break. If you plan to reach it, you will have to calculate your time well, as it is a two-hour boat ride from Arbatax.
Remember that you will have to return the dinghy to the departure point by 17.30/18.00.
The duration of the rental will be 9 hours.
Who it is aimed at
Theminimum age required to drive the dinghy is 18. It is not necessary to hold a boating licence.
Other information
Rental is available from 1 May to 15 October. You can pick up the dinghy from 8.30 a.m., with return by 5.30 p.m.-6 p.m.
The Flamar dinghy is 5.9 m long, can accommodate up to 8 people, and is equipped with an awning for shelter from the sun.
When booking, you can choose between the "without skipper " and "with skipper" options . In the latter case you will be accompanied for the whole day by one of our experienced skippers at an additional cost of €100.
Dogs are allowed on board, but according to the regulations they are not allowed to land on the beaches: they must remain on the dinghy.
Attention! Fuel is not included in the rental price and will be paid at the end of the excursion, according to consumption.
