Sail in total privacy and tranquillity along the Syracuse coast on board a private dinghy with skipper, reach the most beautiful beaches and discover many surprising places.
The dinghy rental with sk ipper is the solution for those who wish to have complete freedom to choose their own route, always remaining safe thanks to an expert skipper.
Ideal for groups of up to 12 people, it can be hired for a full or half day.
What we will do
The appointment is at the port of Avola (SR), where you will meet the skipper who will accompany you on the excursion. You will be the one to choose the route, perhaps relying on his advice as a local expert, but without any constraints other than those dictated by the weather conditions.
You can sail north to visit the Plemmirio Nature Reserve, the beaches of Fontante Bianche and Ognina, or go south, crossing equally spectacular stretches of coastline until you reach the Vendicari Nature Reserve, and then reach Marzamemi and Capopassero, stopping for a dip whenever you like.
The 8-metre dinghy is equipped with comfortable benches, a sofa at the stern, sunbathing area at the bow, awning, table, icebox for drinks, stereo system, freshwater shower, ladder for easy access to the water and all safety devices.

This activity is available from May to November, weather permitting.
The boat available for hire is an 8-metre long, 2.80-metre wide798 dinghy with a 225 hp engine. It accommodates up to 26 people on board and is equipped with an awning, a deck shower, a stereo system, a bow sundeck, a stern sundeck, a sturdy stainless steel roll bar, a freshwater shower, a bathing ladder, USB sockets, an icebox for drinks and a refrigerator.
The dinghy has plenty of space to sit on: a sundeck in the bow, a bench in front of the steering position, a driver's bench, a sofa in the stern with a fold-down backrest, two large stern beaches with a swim ladder and a table in the bow. To be comfortable on board, the dinghy is recommended for groups of up to 10 people.
Fuel is not included in the participation fee, but must be paid at the end of the trip according to consumption.
You can request a fishing kit with two rods at an additional cost of 30€ and a snorkelling kit at an additional cost of 20€.

When booking, you can choose either a half-day or a full-day option.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
