If you are on holiday in Syracuse, you know that the city offers incredible views, but its most authentic and wild side is only revealed to those who dare to leave the mainland.
Hire the Lomac 5. 40 dinghy and turn your day into an exclusive exploration of sea caves, white cliffs and secret coves! You can choose between a half day for a quick tour of the most iconic spots or a full day to lose yourself in the slow rhythms of the sea.
With awning, stereo system, cushions and shower at your disposal, you'll have everything you need for an unforgettable time with your group of up to 5 people!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in Syracuse (SR) . Upon your arrival, the staff will welcome you for the paperwork and the signing of the contract.
The skipper will hand you over the Lomac 540 dinghy, explaining everything you need to know about its handling and the rules for safe navigation. Before you set sail, you will take a sea trial to familiarise yourself with the controls and receive detailed nautical maps.
The dinghy is 5. 40 metres long , with a 40-hp engine and on-board equipment that includes a generous bow and stern sundeck, a bathing ladder for conveniently climbing back in after your dives, a deck shower, and a sun canopy for the hottest hours.
You will be advised on the best itineraries to make the most of your time: don't miss the magic of the island of Ortigia seen from the sea, the scenic Scoglio dei Due Frati or the unspoilt wonders of the Plemmirio Marine Protected Area.
After 4 hours or 9 hours of rental (to be chosen at the time of booking) you will return the dinghy to the starting point.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is open to everyone. You do not need a licence to drive the dinghy, but a minimum age of 18 is required.
The boat is not wheelchair accessible.
Other information
Rental is available from April to October on a half-day (10 a. m. to 2 p. m. or 2 p. m. to 7 p. m. ) or full-day (10 a. m. to 7 p. m. ) basis; please select your preference in the booking box.
Fuel is not included in the fee and will be paid at the end of the rental (by card or cash) , according to consumption.
Important: you may be asked to pay a security deposit of up to €250, payable locally by credit card or cash, which will be returned to you on your return.
Small and medium-sized dogs are allowed on board.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport; for those arriving by car, there are parking spaces in the immediate vicinity.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
