Make your summer in Sicily special by hiring a 5.35-metre, 40 hp dinghy that does not require a licence, is new and easy to drive. Together with your friends you will be able to admire the natural and architectural wonders of Syracuse and Ortigia from a privileged position, that of the sea!
When purchasing, you can choose whether to hire the dinghy for half a day (4h) or a full day (8h).

What we will do
You will be able to collect the dinghy at the dock in Syracuse. The skipper will come to welcome you and briefly explain how to drive the dinghy and the various safety regulations. He will also advise you where to go and which are the most beautiful areas to visit.
At the end of this phase, you will be free to get on board and head wherever you wish. You can, for example, visit the enchanting Ortigia Island, the oldest part of Syracuse, the Maniace Castle, the Venetian Palace and the imposing Spanish Walls.
You can also visit the most picturesque beaches and caves of the Syracuse coastline and dive into the water to swim in the crystal-clear sea. After 4 or 8 hours of rental (your choice at the time of booking) you will return the dinghy to the starting point.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is open to everyone. You do not need a licence to drive the dinghy, but a minimum age of 18 is required.

The activity can be booked from May to October, subject to weather and sea conditions.
The 5.35-metre, 40-hp Sax Jamaica dinghy is equipped with all comforts, including awning, shower and radio. It is approved for 8 people, but for reasons of safety and comfort on board, a maximum of 4/5 people are allowed. It can be driven without a licence.
Please note! Fuel is not included in the rental price and will be paid at the end of the trip, according to consumption.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
